What a perfect way to flow a game with an amazing storyline and free flowing gameplay. The game overall was created with such hook that makes you want to play again and again. I would recommend this to everyone. This is a must buy. This game captures the Dark Knight's unique fighting abilities and amazing gadgets. With a hint of Catwoman and soon other characters... What else would you want?

Great game and an improvement over Arkham Asylum. You’ve got improved gameplay, a more interesting storyline, and a much larger environment to roam around in. If you enjoyed Asylum, then you won’t be disappointed with Arkham City.

The game is different and fun from most games. The story line is incredible all the characters from Batman are woven into the game, sometimes you are working with the villains to beat other villains. It is challenging but doable. Would definitely recommend this game.

The plot of the game was interesting and sucked you in. The fighting style is fun and challenging. The villains keep you guessing. Love playing as Catwoman! Lots of things to do that'll keep you playing for hours. There's lots to find out and look for.

    Awesome Follow-Up to Asylum!!

First off...you MUST play Asylum first!..There are just too many plot points that flow into this one...plus it is an awesome game! (I doubt anyone reading this skipped that game, but just making the point!). Overall, this is a wonderful sequel, full of plot twists, cameos, and additions that capitalize on what made the first game so good! Do yourself a favor and pick it up ASAP...at BB because you get the Robin downloadable content, which is kinda awesome! Also, make sure to download the Catwoman code before starting the game..it will give you an extra beginning and ending, and incorporate her stories into the main plot..very cool!! For more in-depth reviews, check out IGN and Gamespot...it really IS a great candidate for GOTY!!

    Better than the original

Superhero games are usually not that great, but since Batman Arkham Asylum I have become a believer. I beat Arkham Asylum the day I bought and expected that this game was going to be no different but I was mistaken. There is so much to do in Arkham City that when you do eventually finish you are left with a feeling for more. The challenge maps are great but the story is what really sucks you into the game and maybe if the story would have include more heroes the game could have been a bit better. I say if you want to find a great superhero game look no further because Arkham City is the game you want.

This game had an even more expansive environment than the first one and I liked the fact that you could roam around outside, as well as inside buildings. There are additonal side missions, roof tops to explore, etc. This game does have violent episodes, some very dark side missions, etc., so is not recommended for children or younger teens.

Arkham City is similiar to Arkham Asylum but with an even better story line. Playing as catwoman is very different than playing with Batman. This is a good game to own.

This game is going to be a cool game to get, a game for you kids or ur self if you are a Batman fan like it gots the same graghics as the first one cause i have it n the story line is long. People that made this game say that its 5 times bigger than the Batman Alkham Aslum so its going to have a longer story mode n thats great for people that like game with a long story mode. in the game you be fighting with all batmans enemys like two face n the joker.

Best Game I've played in 28 years

Since my very first video game - The included version of Combat for Atari 2600 (I was 6 years old); I have never been more excited about a game then Batman AC. Even when my dad submitted the photo of our old giant CRT TV of my perfect score on Pitfall II to get my Activision club patch. I've been playing for 3 months and still play it when I get a chance. The voice acting is fantastic; storyline is engaging. I'm probably not the hardest core gamer out there; but I am consistent; having grown up with video games my whole life. This is the best game I've ever played for a working guy like me with other interests. You can play this game, feel like the Batman for an hour or two; then get on with your life. When you're ready to become the Bat again, just pick right up where you left off! Besides the voice acting and script, the best thing about this game is minimal load times and absolutely terrific graphics and smooth gameplay for such a large playing area. Batman does what I want him to do. Every time. Riddler challenges, Batman Plus, and campaign maps, different approaches to challenges (stealth vs force) have kept me playing for 3 months now. Great value.

    Batman: Arkham City

It's rare that a sequel surpasses the original in virtually all elements, Star Trek II: Wrath of Kahn, Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back, and now Batman: Arkham City. The storylines for the different missions were diverting enough to keep you invested in the game, but it was the gameplay that kept you coming back for more. Some of the Riddler trophies really made you think outside the box to obtain.

the controls were the same as the previous game, so everything was already familiar. The graffics were awesome and you have alot of area to cover. With the add on packages, this is one very playable game!

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I got it the day it came out and I'm still finding things to do. Not to mention running around as Batman, kicking crimes butt is just plain fun. This game is basically GTA: Batman...and it was done VERY well. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

I loved Arkham Asylum and couldn't wait for the City to come out. The two games are very similar, but the City is HUGE! It assumes some knowledge of the gameplay used in the Asylum, but beginners should be able to catch on quickly. The story is just so fun that you won't be able to stop playing for hours at a time. Great game!

The first game was groundbreaking. Arkham City picked up right were Asylum left off as far as gameplay, storyline, graphics, and challenge. The gameplay with other characters enriches the depth to Batman's character that is already established in Asylum. Great game for all Batman fans, hardcore or casual.

    Really great game

This game is fantastic! It is definitely a worthy sequel to Arkham Asylum. The fact that gameplay is within a larger area than just Arkham Island makes it easier to get lost, but it's easy enough to find where you're supposed to go again. The combat is very similar to the first one, and the addition of new gadgets, as well as the old ones, and quick combat commands to use them is really good too. The Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing DLC is really cool, love the different skins, gadgets, and fighting styles for the four different playable characters. I wish that Robin and Nightwing were playable in the game, but their challenge maps are awesome. I'm not really fond of the compass in this game, and some of the changes made to detective mode are a bit annoying, but all-in-all a great game!!

Batman Arkham City is by far the best game of its genre that I have ever played. I loved Arkham Asylum, but this one is amazing. You have more moves, gadgets, and combos, and if that's not enough, you can fly all over the city.
