With Batman Arkham City being such an amazing game its tough to decide where to begin with its praise. The graphics are amazing and much like Arkham Asylum but the story mode dives even deeper in the sequel. Every major batman villain plays a role in Arkham City from the usual suspects like Joker, Harley Quinn and Bane to new/old faces like penguin, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Ras-al-gul, Professor Strange, Poison Ivy, and many others. The freeflow style gameplay allows you to completely explore the map and find new side missions and riddles at every corner with hours of gameplay necessary to achieve the "Platinum Trophy". Along with the expansive story mode comes predator and battle missions like in Arkham Asylum where players can hone their skills by beating up on 50 enemies at once or go silent mode with predator levels. Amazing sequel to an amazing series im just waiting for the next installment!!!

I've always been a fan of games that are free-roaming where you have many side quests and things to do while doing the main story line as well. If you're a fan of games such as GTA and the Assassin's Creed series then I can't see you not enjoying this game. I'm not a hardcore comics guy, but I did enjoy the fact you can unlock bios of the characters which you interact with so you can learn a little back story. There are multiple side quests and objectives from simply scanning certain objects, saving people, to small puzzles which you have to figure out. The main story line isn't too long, but with games like these they often aren't. I've probably put 25~ hours into the game and I'm 60% complete (100% Main Story line + % of side quests). You also can unlock extra challenges, art, and character statues which can be accessed from the main menu.

This game is just amazing, great graphics, intriguing storyline, and almost any Batman villain you can think of will be in this game. This game is a must have for any batman fan or any gamer looking for a great superhero, stealth combat game.

Everything about Asylum was improved. The open game play feels great. Excellent game. A game that sets the standard for the next few years.

One of the best games that I have played. I was addicted from the beginning to the end. If you like comic heroes at all and/or enjoyed Arkam Asylum you will love this game.

Im not a hardcore gamer and barley play games...but when I do, i like to play chill and fun games...i like good graphics and good game play and pretty much only play free-roam games like GTA and Red Dead and Just Cause 2...First off all, im not really into super heroes, so when i got the first game...arkham asylum, i was like...Batman? Really? but tried it and ended up liking it alot...Arkham City is just like Arkham Asylum on BIGGER and BETTER. This really is a must buy, i wasnt gonna buy any games this year, but i heard it was so good, i had to...and it was worth it

My son absolutely loved the game and that was the main thing he wanted for Christmas. There was a great sale on this game before Thanksgiving and was able to use my rewards so I actually paid 5.24 total.

This game has it all. It challenges your mind, your fighting skills and has an amazing collection of villains for Batman to takedown. Batman: Arkham Asylum was amazing but Arkham City astounding.

If you love the Batman story, then this game is for you. Difficult enough for someone who is a regular gamer, but not too hard for a newbie.

Great Game. Great graphics. I only played some of Arkham Asylum prior to this game being released so I cant say if it is improved or not.

this is a great game, don't listen to the one star people they have no idea what they are talking about. yes i agree the fighting could be better but you can make it harder but setting the level to the hardest level. and as of picking up objects to use like a gun batman doesn't use guns he uses his own weapons. there is a lot of free lance opportunity which makes the game better, and after you "beat" the game you still can continue to play with more story line. great game fun and action packed

This is my first batman game and IT IS one of the best superhero games out for playstation. The story is awesome, graphics are intense and the longevity of the game is great! I highly recommend this game to anyone looking to get a good bang for their buck.

AS good, if not better than the first ARKHAM game. The only down side is this might be the last game/movie/TV Show that Mark Hammil does the voice of the JOKE on.

Great game, way better than the Arkham Asylum. I ordered it during the Black Friday sale, and got it three weeks later. Fortunately, still before Christmas.

Endless hours of fun between storyline and challenges. Excellent followup to Arham Assylum. Wasn't dissapointed. Love this game can't wait for a third one!

No other game tops this one. I love Batman and everything in this game. It is perfect for a true Batman fan.

By far best PS3 game that I have come across. Once started couldnt put it down. Highly reccomended.

If u played the first one, almost picks up and plays from that spot. Familiar puzzles, controls and characters, will not be disappointed unless your anti DC comics haha...

as advertised, great game. not ridiculously hard, but very challenging. the language at times is a little rough for little kids.
