It meets, if not surpasses, the bar set by Batman: Arkham Asylum. The combat structure is very similar with new bonuses added in that makes it flow seamlessly, the storyline is brilliant and exciting, and The Riddler still really gets on your nerves. If you liked the first game, this is a must-have.

This is easily the best game of the year, and is ten times better than the first game which was also fantastic. They took any aspects of Arkham Asylum that were lacking and improved them, and added new features that only enhanced the game to a whole new level of awesome. I tip my hat.

I simply love this game. It's everything I was waiting for. The graphics and the audio.... oh my god! Just awesome. It just kept surprising me how new villains kept coming up. The only thing that I didn't like so much is all the side missions... it can get really confusing and it really distracts you a lot from the main storylilne... I guess there's no "wrong" way to play this game, but if there was, I'd definitely say I did it the wrong way... I finished the main story and I still had TONS of side missions pending... Regarding how "Challenging"it is... well... just like Arkham Asylum, the boss fights are really not as hard as they could/should be. Anyway, I still loved it and believe it's woth every single penny.

Great game with a lot to offer. Different game modes for hours of fun and challenging gameplay. Amazing graphics and storyline. Love this game. And yeah I have all the achievements.

Storymode is awsome but kind of short, I beat the game not even close to 50% statistics, great story however I found it short, but the game is very addictive, specially when dowloading Catwoman to beat the story mode.

Between the storyline, riddles, and challenges, you could play this for weeks. Game is fun, love flying around the city. Very happy I own this one.

Excellent game!! Keeps you moving from one area to the next and wanting to explore the city. But makes it so you want to find every hidden item and secret. Love the game!

Arkham City, much like Arkham Asylum, features comfortable and rewarding gameplay, fantastic graphics and voice acting (you just can't beat Mark Hamill as Joker), great character design, and a story worthy of the Batman name. The storyline takes us to a new super-prison called Arkham City, inexplicably run by Dr. Strange. We meet and battle a wide variety of classic Batman characters that we didn't see in the first game, including Penguin, Freeze, and some others that you should see for yourself. As a Batman fan and a fan of this new game franchise I was thoroughly impressed and entertained throughout.

This is a fantastic game with great stories. Great side stories. Great graphics. Absolutely great game.

I don't care what anyone else says, because Batman: Arkham City is the best game ever. Forget Call Of Duty, Arkham City is the best. Freeflow fighting and predator challenge maps have been improved significantly, and the DLC's are sensational. Also the campaign story is way less linear than its predecessor, and it's completely more involving.

Terrific game, from start to finish the story draws you in. Many side-quests to keep you busy. Replay it over and over again.

Great game excellent price! It'll challenge the best!

This is one of the best, if not the best, Batman video game ever made. It was well worth the $30 price tag when it was purchased on sale at Best Buy. However, there are several items of downloadable content (DLC) priced at $10 to $15 each (Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman). As a consumer I resent that I cannot play a complete game when it is purchased. If you buy this game second hand, you will need to purchase the the Catwoman DLC (the code can only be used by the once, presumably by the original owner). If the game and DLC were all purchased on release day, this would cost nearly $100! For this reason, I can only give this otherwise great game 4/5 stars.

Game play remains true to the original, providing enhanced graphics. The addition of catwoman for a change of pace offers a nice change in pace.

This game is simply AWESOME! It feels like you're playing a movie with. The production value in this game is mind-blowing! It can make a Batman fan out of many people for sure!

This game was just amazing start to finish. The world is so much bigger and more detailed. The characters are much crisper and the storyline is pretty in-depth with some pretty serious twists along the way. I highly recommend for anyone who even kind of liked the first one.

This game is the best. I hope future DLC adds to the story mode and less to the challenge mode. 3D works well on both XBOX360 and PS3. Make sure you have required equipment.

This is probably the front-runner for game of the year! This is an amazingly well-polished game with the best fighting mechanics of any game I've ever played.
