This was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. And saw it at Best Buy for a great price. Watched it and still looks great. Maybe not as good as the newer ones but in its own style still a good flick. Not as dark as the newer ones but still a little grimy in a comic way. Teens may think it’s a little cheesy compared to today’s Batman movies but may still like it.

Back in 1989 most people could not wait for this big-budget Batman to come out in theatres me included and was not disappointed. Still today this movie ranks among one of my favs and when I seen the following sequels thru the 90's each one never disappointed. I highly recommend this movie Jack Nicholson's Riddler performance is incredible and very enjoyable.

The transfer to 4K of Batman was beautifully done. The picture quality and sound are impeccable. Almost like watching it for the first time again

Costume details, backgrounds, lighting contrast and colors get a huge upgrade in the 4K remaster of Tim Burton's Batman; images pop like never before, clothing textures like Batman's cape and mask stand out remarkably, and for the first time in many lifetime viewings, certain miniature sets were plainly visible where I'd never noticed them before.

It's hard to believe that it has been 30 years since Tim Burton's dark take on The Dark Knight hit theaters, but here we are. To celebrate, Warner Home Video gave the four Batflicks from the 80s and 90s each a 4K restoration. The picture and audio on the 1989 original are greatly improved on the UHD -a remastered Blu-ray has also been included-, giving the film's image and sound field a long overdue bit of depth. Some complained about sound effects being replaced in the new sound mix, but it didn't bother me in the least. Highly recommended.

Outstanding transfer! I’ve owned Batman on DVD & Blu Ray .....4k made me see the film in a whole new light! The detail is fantastic! I felt as if I was viewing a different version of the film-an extended cut w/new scenes or something. The picture pops in ways it didn’t previously. Totally worth adding to your collection in 4k

This movie was quintessential to us kids Growing up in the late 80’s-early 90’s. This 4K Reid is amazing and so clean. It looks great and makes everyone in it look great! Before CGI took over in our superhero movies, there was Batman. And let’s face it, Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson... you couldn’t go wrong even if you wanted to.

My case came in great condition. I also like the 4K transfer of the film. I definitely recommend collecting all of the Batman films in 4K.

Oh the first, the earliest modern day Batman film. Acting is top notch and really set the mood. Dick Tracy went and copied the exaggerated style and added Madonna for box off pull. Nicholson and Keaton are top notch. The rest of the cast fits well along those two power houses! The Sequel is even better in my opinion!

You can't go wrong with any of Michael Keaton's Batman movies, but Jack Nicholson as well as the Joker and your talking instant classic! I hadn't seen this movie since it originally came out in theaters. And when I saw they now have it in 4KUHD I had to have it, a must have for the essential Batman fan!

Tim Burton's 1989 Batman has now reached it's 30th anniversary. It remains as one of the all time great comic book movies. Jack Nicholson gives an unforgettable & very entertaining performance as the clown prince of crime Joker & Michael Keaton is perfect as the brooding caped crusader Batman. A must own.

I remember seeing this movie in the theaters in summer '89, and I'm not sure it's ever looked as good as it does on this 4K release. Extras are the same ported over from the previous releases dating back to 2005, but the picture and audio upgrades make this an easy recommendation!

The Video and Audio are such a upgrade It’s about time Warner came out with a perfect presentation of this movie from 1989 on the fist release on video this movie has been hard to watch from the video presentation but the 4K master it finally looks like it was intended to be

This movie is a true classic. Bought for my brother for Christmas. Wishing it came with a slipcover though.

This movie started my love for Batman. All the peformances are great. Big fan and great remastered

This 4K presentation of THE Batman movie pretty much blew my taint apart. Never have I seen this 30 year old flick look so good other than when I was 12 in 89 and saw it several times that summer. My nipples have been shooting milk ever since I picked this 4K up!

With all of the Batman movies made, you got to give it up for the Michael Keaton Batman movie. Just wish he would have stayed with the franchise back in the day. I have this movie on audio so playing the movie with my boys will be a great stay at home movie night!

This 4k movie of Batman is just amazing. The audio is just the best. It's like watching the movie again in the movie theater. It's been a long time since I've seen this movie and I'm so glad that I waited for this version. Comes with great special features.

The superhero blockbuster that started them all. Great to see Burton’s classic in 4k.

If you haven't seen this, you need to. Enough said. It's classic. All the parts come together perfectly. While still a bit goofy compared to today's standards, I think this film provides the prototype for the superhero genre moving forward.
