It's a great movie! Michael Keaton is an awesome Batman actor. Jack Nicholson, awesome acting as the Joker. Tim Burton made what the world of Batman is supposed to be, dark and serious. He did an amazing job. If you're a Batman fan or casual movie goer, you must watch it.

JUST PICKED THIS UP FOR $10.99.GREAT BUY.THE VIDEO QUALITY IS EXCELLENT FOR A 1989 MOVIE. THERE ARE NO KRACKLE,SNAPS OR POPS IN THIS BLU-RAY. ALL THOUGH THIS MOVIE LOOKING BACK IS ONLY SUB-PAR, THE TRANSFER IS GREAT TO HAVE IN YOUR COLLECTION.ENJOY, STAY HEAVY !!!!

This is another WB movie with an expired code on the case. I've purchased so many movies over the years with expired codes that still redeemed that I thought I'd buy it anyway. Nope, the code wouldn't redeem. I reached out to their customer service and was told too bad. This company sucks. If you're going to purchase this, know there is no digital movie with it.

I always stop by the dvd sale bin for I always find a great movie for a low price. This one is no exception. If you like Batman, you'll be happy to pick this one up to add to your collection.

WOW! It is like watching it for the first time again, I didn't even blink. I still can't believe the quality, I went back n fourth with the dvd version now I am just gonna give the dvd away. I'm still in awe. =)

Keating, Nicholson and Burton all delivered. The story was something you could imagine in the comics of today. A dark mood set by the joker is kept throughout. A superhero classic.

I first saw this movie in theatres as a child, this movie is still great today. Nicholson and Keaton are great.

Such a good interpretation of a troubled and pained Bruce Wayne. Michael Keaton is superb as Batman. A must have for any serious movie collection.

Fun romp with one of DC comics linchpins. Great movie which was one of forerunners for super hero movies.

Arguably the best batman film ever made with Keaton possibly being the best Caped Crusader ever in a live action film.

Heath's Joker may be better than Jack's but it's close and this is an overall better flick than Begins or Dark Knight. But not by much.

The Joker was the role Nicholson was born to play and his performance here shows that he knows it. The art direction (which richly deserved an Oscar) is also first rate, as is the music from Prince (especially Scandalous). Sadly, this emphasis on Jack proved to be at the cost of what could've been great work from Michael Keaton in the title role. Instead, his work is merely good instead of legendary (a la Christopher Reeve as Superman). Kim Basinger, as beautiful as she is, proves as weak and cliched a love interest here as she was in Never Say Never Again. It wouldn't be until Batman Begins, over 15 years later, that the big screen would do the Caped Crusader justice.

The picture and sound quality on this Blu-ray Disc is excellent and the disc is loaded with extras.

Still love this movie after all these years. Wasnt sure about Keaton as Batman but it worked. One of the better comic/superhero films.

If you already own the previous release of 'Batman' on dvd, it would be hard for me to recommend that you fork over $25 for this special edition unless you are absolutely crazy about the film. It is a good movie, but the new transfer isn't much better than the previous dvd, in some ways it seems a little 'overdone'. The choice is yours.
