Nothing like old school Batman brings back memories

You missed out if you seen all the other Batman movies, but didn't see the original one! This original film from the sixties has a special kind of flair to it. Now, in some ways it's like a comic poke at the time period for the adults that are seeing it, while also being an exciting and funny film for kids at the same time. The movie is packed with some big names of the day: Lee Meriweather, Ceaser Romero, Burgess Meredith, etc., and they all had to have had fun making this film!

Best Batman film. Better than all the new ones, great for the family and action fans.

Either you love the campy style of this show and you get it the style, or you don't. I grew up on this show and having the actual movie on Blu-ray is icing on the cake for me. When the original series was finally released on Blu-ray a few years ago, the move wasn't included. It's nice to have everything now. It's just GREAT, campy fun with ALL four of the major villain's. POW! ZAP! ZONK! LOVE IT!

In all honesty I am being asked to write a review about a movie that I watched weeks ago and have watched several movies since then including most of if not all of the other Batman movies plus others so I am trying to recall everything about this movie to give a good review but it is hard. I remember as a kid watching batman on tv I guess when I saw it available on Blu Ray at best buy I decided to grab it. I like the custom car. I like cat woman :) wish we all had nine lives lol.

Alot of care was used when reissuing this movie release. The colors on the blu-ray are simply eye popping. Batman 66 was all about the cheese factor but at the time it was ground breaking. For a low price you get a lot for your money. Great commentary by Burt Ward and Adam West. Cool documentary on the making of the original Batmobile. This would make a great gift for a family with kids or for yourself and have a classic superhero night at home.

This is a good film for any Batman fan, especially those who are fans of the original TV series from the 60s featuring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as his trustful sidekick Robin. The story is not bad and all of the main villains, Joker-Penguin-Riddler-Catwoman, who were played by the original cast, although I don't recall Lee Meriwether as Catwoman from the TV series, are featured. The original Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'hara are also in the film.

I remember seeing this movie as a kid at a back water "drive-in" a looooooong time ago. Have always been an Adam West Batman fan and this movie is a hoot. Lots of stars from yesteryear, a bit campy and fun. The price was nice....so if you are a fan, pick this one up! Enjoy!

Always a classic! This film never gets old thanks to the campy vibe. Adam West, Burt Ward, and the phenomenal villainous cast bring the laughs and a comic book to life. Always a fan favorite and beautiful on Blu-ray...just don't forget your Shark Repellent Bat Spray!!!

After watching episodes of this 60s TV series all remastered & hi-def, I was really taken aback. As silly as it all is, it really & truly lives in the comic book world with its intensely bright colors & ham-fisted, tongue-in-cheek plots & dialogue. So naturally I upgraded my DVD of this ludicrous movie to the Blu-ray. The price is low & the entertainment level high!

Adam West & Burt Ward were a 1960s sensation. The Batman TV show was a huge hit and cultural phenomena. At its peak they made this classic film with Batman and Robin taking on their arch enemies Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler to save the U.N. Get your handy Bat-Shark Repellant and relive this fun, campy classic. When Batman wasn't so dark. Finally on Blu Ray!

This is the only Batman 60's fix you can currently get on bluray. What a treat this I, sharp colorful and loads of extras including a commentary with Adam and Burt. This will have to hold us until the series finally makes it's way to home video which finally looks like it may happen.

I remember this film as a kid growing up. Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) made a movie starring all of Gotham City's main villans, it is a classic movie. I remember watching this in the theaters! It is campy and lots of fun.

This is a must-own for fans who like their Batman campy. As much as I like the darker depictions of the Capes Crusader, this version is still my favorite. Lots of fun and the price can’t be beat.

I grew up watching this show and now on bluray with lots of behind the scenes makes it worth it . I really enjoyed this ,wish they would release more oldies like this like the green hornet with van williams and bruce lee
