This box set is simply a must have for fans of the character Batman and devotees of the animated series. For the first time this all time classic has been remastered in HD which makes it pop even more than it did when it first aired in the early ‘90s. This limited edition set also comes with an awesome lithograph set and 3 Pocket Funko Pops which are cool but kind of a let down; it would’ve been better if they were from the actual show, but that is only a minor nitpick as the actual show is the real star here. It also comes with the two theatrical released animated films Mask of the Phantasm and SubZero! This set is a limited run of only 70,000

This series is the best animated series I have ever watched. Blu Ray upgrade is amazing and any Batman fan should have this collection. The extras are are a nice touch to the set as well. Also comes with digital copies for road trips.

I was a huge fan of Batman TAS when it was first broadcast, and it was an important part of my childhood. It is great to see that there was love and care put to remastering each episode for high def. All of the extras from the individual dvd sets released prior are included in one package. The limited edition packaging is prone to dents and damage and the Funko pops are pointless. I couldn't wait for the regular version of the set (which are now announced if not available) so I recommend that at the moment. But this set is not much more expensive. Overall, I recommend purchasing this series on blu ray for both old fans and newcomers.

From Burton, to Nolan, to Snyder, this is MY Batman. I'm only about 50 episodes through this massive set, but I've been pleased what's included. Good to see Mask of the Phantasm and the Kids WB season (that matched with Superman) included on this set. Commentaries and bonus features are from previous home releases, dated 2004, but are still informative. My only real issue with this set is the packaging. Though the book packaging looks very nice, I wasn't happy with the discs themselves being in these tight sleeves; fortunately I had some spare cases (thin and able to hold two discs each) on hand to use.

IGN has a really good video review of this box set. I will say that it does not take more than 30 seconds into one of the discs to notice how much care went into restoring this highly regarded show. An added bonus of the digital copy and some little funko-style pops and you're golden. The only drawback, which I argue on behalf of IGN is that the funko pops are not in the style of the show for some reason. There are already ones that are made in the show's vision, yet must not have been included due to some random reason. No matter, as the content on these discs is most important & it is glorious.

The remasters of this set are absolutely stunning. I've compared to the old DVDs and it's leaps and bounds better. That said, as a collectors edition it could have been better. The discs are housed in a booklet which although is very nice in presentation, has actually caused scratches on the discs due to how tightly they fit. The mini pops are just plain tacky. A batmobile would have been a much better collectors item or even just not have anything and price the set a little cheaper. Theres very little content on the special features disc. The Harley Quinn feature is only about two minutes long, is clearly old recycled footage that I'm pretty sure is taken from old featurettes, not remastered, and they just threw in a few clips from the blu rays so it would look new. They did not include the special featurette from the 2008 collector set titled "Batman's Animated Evolution". I suppose that just preserves the integrity of the old box set but still would have been neat. I just felt that there could have been more meat to the extra disc especially considering the release date was delayed two weeks partially for the main featurette. The next issue is the digital codes. The code only gets you digital copies for the DVDs and currently VUDU (the only service you can use the code for) does not have the HD remastered version. So the code is not even for the box set you are buying, rather, it gets you the digital copies of the 2008 DVD box set (a set which did not include the two movies and thus neither does the digital code.) I have read they (Warner Bros. and VUDU) are currently addressing this but is still unacceptable to me as this was the other reason of why the release date was delayed to include the digital copy. I hope if/when they do rectify this that the movies will be included as they should have been since they are part of this set. Bottom line: if you're a collector and you love this series I do still reccomend this box set. The remasters are amazing in both audio and video. But overall as a collectors set, the 2008 DVD box set was much better.

One of the most iconic characters in one of the best series ever. I couldn’t wait to get home from school when this series came out to watch. Seeing it again restored to 1080p quality, it still holds up. So much heart and great story. Not much content like it these days, in my opinion. With the digital version available, I can stream it while keeping the discs intact.

Only setback is you have to call the digital copy provider and protest to get better quality download and the Movies digital code....they company did do this for my husband and many others go read reviews on competitor site that tells you what to do to receive this. As my husband was the one who fought for it so I'm not sure what all he had to do. But they did give it to him.

I've been waiting YEARS for this release and glad I didn't jump the gun and get around to purchasing this series in regular DVD. The Blu-Ray presentation is AMAZING and the show still stands up to other animated series after all these years. THIS was a MUST HAVE and even better since this was a limited edition box set. After you read this, don't hesitate, JUST BUY IT!

This is quintessential Batman. Outside the original source material of the comics, this series is the foundation of Batman as we know it. This was the 1st visual iteration of the character able to capture the essence of why he is the "Dark Knight". As soon as I saw the set was available on Blu-Ray I knew I had to have it.

Batman The Animated Series is a 10/10 show. This box set is very nice but I do have some minor complaints. I wish it was packaged slightly better. The discs are semi exposed in folders which makes them hard to retrieve. You have to grab the discs and get fingerprints on them which I don't love. Also, this set comes with a digital copy but it's a digital copy of the unaltered show instead of the remaster. Having said that, the remaster is very nice and this is one of the greatest shows of all time. The only reason it's not 5 stars is due to the reasons I just listed. It has some extensive bonus features as well.

I bought this boxset months ago and have watched every episode. This show is truly something special and is even better than I remember as a kid. Unfortunately this limited edition is no longer available but would buy the standard edition in a heartbeat if I didn’t already own this one.

This was my favorite show growing up and it is great to finally have the episodes in remastered high definition. The discs are a bit hard to get out but the design is cool. Includes Mask of the Phantasm and Sub-Zero as well. Could have done without the Funkos.

This is the best iteration of BATMAN ever made. Although the collectors edition is hard to find, getting the basic set is still worth it. For a kids cartoon it gets very serious, but doesn't stray far from the source material.

The complete collection of Batman the animated series is a fantastic series showing Batman saving Gotham City from all of your favorite Gotham criminals in an excellent remastered version. I highly recommend this to any Batman fan.

This is an amazing release. The quality of these Blu Rays is superior to the former SD release. Not a fan of all the extras. I probably would just purchase the standard box set if I was to do it over.

This set is terrific, great to see this great series in hi def. Also includes two feature films, one of which is the excellent “Mask of the Phantasm”. A must have for any Batman or animation fan.

Batman TAS is easily one of the greatest tellings of Batman, if not one of the best television series of all time. The HD teansfwrnis great and it even has the great movies to accompany it.

This collection brings all the great episodes of the Batman animated series. Restored to hd and having the downloadable content to watch on the go is amazing. Best animated Batman ever.
