I am an avid Batman fan. I have the Dark Knight Trilogy box set, Animated Series box set and this was the next on my list. As soon as I saw it announced I had to have it! Video and Audio quality are great as well as the collectible items within the package.

Well I remember watching these series on tv and I am amazed at the beautiful Detail of the Bluray version of Batman. The picture quality is amazing. I am using a Sony BDP-S301 bluray player at 24 frames per second and a sharp Aquos 650 series 60 inch tv with 120HZ refresh rates. This set up Is perfect for this bluray series. I loved the way it was packaged. The die cast hot wheels replica of the bat mobile came in excellent conditions, some complaint on youtube of it coming broken but mine came fine. The collectable cards are an exact replica of the cards Adam west used on one of the shows. The bluray discs came very well packaged as well but I found them to be a bit hard to remove from the case, so be careful not to break the disc or the case it's in. Do your best to remove it carefully. Other then that. I am very satisfied with this product and I hope that my quick review helps you in choosing to purchase this awesome collectible disc set. Remember only 95,000 copies were made so make sure you get yours before they sell out. I know the price is a bit high but I used my best buy credit card for the purchase and got the 6 months no interest financing, making it a pleasure to purchase and pay in small installments.

This Blu Ray Collection is POW-RIFFIC!!! (Sorry for the pun) This is for any Batman fans or the love of 60's campy style. Not only do you get the entire series on Blu Ray, but you also get a Hot Wheel Batmobile, a collection of art cards of the Cape Crusader and the Boy Wonder, a scrapbook collection by Adam West. There is even a button on the side of the box set that plays the theme song!!!! Another big thing is that it also has a digital copy for the entire series that you can get and watch it anywhere from your phone, tablet and computer. Hands down one of the best purchases that I've bought to the fact that I just told the Best Buy cashier, "Shut up and take my money!!!" oh btw this box set is limited so act fast before it sells out everywhere.

The Batman Television Complete Series Limited Edition This is a "limited edition" set with only 95,000 produced. This package comes with all episodes restored and brought together on Blu-Ray Disks. In addition, it comes with a Digital HD copy for use on Flickster/UltraViolet programs. It also comes with a few extras. It has a small artbook, an episode catalogue, an extra content dvd disk, and a Hot Wheels Replica of the Batmobile. I very much enjoyed this set, as I am a very big fan of Batman and the campy Adam West television series. The episodes look very nice, more crisp than in any other format I've seen and packing a whopping 12 episodes per disk. The disk menu's are a little stale. When moving the cursor, the icons turn from blue to green. The shades mixed in really close, making it hard to see. At least the menus have nice imagery and the Batman tune in the background. The packaging of the box itself is actually quite sturdy, with a really nice padding to hold all of the content and a nice fabric strip to help manipulate the content. I love the designs on all of the dvd cases too. The art book and hot wheels replica are just gimmicks, but are always appreciated. I strongly enjoyed the quality that went into the product and can quite firmly grant it five stars.

After years of delays and lawsuits the 1960s Crime Fighters have finally found their way to home entertainment sans commercials and voice overs during the closing credits. The Blu-ray version of the 1966 Batman series is, as Robin might say, the Holy Grail of iconic 1960s television. At least for me. The producers were eons ahead of their time artistically and use color, good writing and perfect casting to bring to life the Caped Crusader's as never seen before. When I was a child, I had no problem following the dialogue in the story plots, however as an adult, Batman and Robin's dialogue often has a more clever, and adult oriented double meaning. Most of us who bought, or will buy this collection already know what to expect. This set delivers! And now, after decades of waiting, we, the fans of the 1960 series, can now determine our own bat-time on our own bat-channel. Purrrrfect!

hands down my favorite TV show from my childhood. This is the more expensive collectible box which includes some extra knickknacks besides the series itself. There is a stripped down version coming in December minus the collectibles. Please note: Warner Bros. is starting a disc replacement program because A couple of the episodes are apparently missing a minute or two of footage. Just contact their home entertainment customer service department and replacement discs should start shipping in January. All things considered, this is a terrific box set.

This is one of the best box sets I've ever purchased! I had been wanting to add this one to my collection for a while now. I am very happy with my purchase. The extra goodies inside are pretty neat. You get a deck of cards, an episode guide, the Adam West Scrapbook, and a really cool Hot Wheels car of the Batmobile. The Adam West Scrapbook though isn't too impressive. It might not be what you hope it is, but there are some neat photos inside. The Batmobile car comes in a nice window display type plastic packaging and has a photo of the bat cave to give the illusion it is parked inside. I thought that little detail was neat. I probably won't use the playing cards, but I like having them as a collectible with their artwork. The real star of this set is the TV show itself. Every episode just looks so beautiful in HD. Keep in mind that this was made in the standard format back in the day, so you will have a square image in the center of your rectangle television. Don't let that dissuade you though. This is one collection you do not want to pass up.

For those who grew up watching the show either originally or in reruns, the biggest question was "when is this going to come out on DVD?!" There were so many big stars that appeared in this show either as special guest villains, or even just cameos, that I imagine that's what delayed it. Now that it's out, it was WELL worth the wait. This is a great format for it, with the episodes looking battastic. There's even a button on the side of the box that sings part of the theme song when you press it. If you like this show you owe it to yourself to get it, and if you haven't seen it you REALLY have to get it to see what the craze was about!

For years everyone wondered why Batman 66 wasn't on dvd. The truth is a long complicated legal affair that spans 50 years and several rights holders. Now... finally... all that is settled. This limited edition (95,000 copies) is something special. Brand spanking new HD masters were created from the original camera negative and the series has never looked better! I the extra features are informative and entertaining, although unfortunately limited due to the death of many of the films actors. A highly recommended set that will keep Batfans of all kinds entertained for another 50 years!

This is for ANY Batman fan, not only the baby boomers who grow up watching it in the 60's. Both the blu ray & dvd are great quality. The disc extras are classic as well each episode. For the blu ray set the Bat mobile is nice, Adam's scrap book is neat with highlights of the show, the episode guide is handy. lastly there's a push button on the side that plays the na na na na theme. The dvd set does not come with the batmobile or Adam's scrap book. But like I said the quality of the dvds are very good!

I'm a younger '66 Batman fan - in my late 20s - who discovered this series in my early teens. I've been waiting for YEARS for it to finally be released on DVD. I must say, it was worth the wait. Every episode on Blu-ray, remastered, with the "In Color" bumper even included for every episode. And the extras included with this set are pretty nice too. I'd like a more detailed episode guide and the Adam West book is a little cheesy, but the nice case and the toy Batmobile are amazing. I highly recommend this set for any diehard Batfan.

I'm an avid dvd collector. I have been waiting on the complete batman television series for a long time, and it's FINALY here! I usually only collect DVDs but when I previewed all of the extra content in the bluray set I had to have it. My family and I love the creative campy writing and the old school filmography of the show. I was really suprised at how much the original footage was cleaned up in the bluray addition. The picture is very clear. If you appreciate this show then the bluray collection is definetly the way to go

This is one fine blu ray collection! The Batman television show is definitely a sight to see and what better way than on full blu ray quality. The show is great; campy and cheesy. POW! Silly action sequences. BAM! Even sillier dialogue. KABOOM! But where this set really shines is in visual and audio quality. It is truly amped up on blu ray. Incredible sound and outstanding picture. All episodes in one collection with a few little extras like a Hot Wheels Batmobile, booklet on the show. Great this if you're a Batman fan!

For the first time, viewers can own the complete 1966 'Batman' series. The campy comedy appeals to adults and kids alike. The kids love the colors and characters. Adults can appreciate the humor and pop-culture phenomenon that was 'Batman.' This series looks incredible in the BluRay format. The colors are vibrant, the details are exquisite. Overall, this is an incredible addition to any Bat-fan's collection!

We already know what we're getting episode-wise. I'm here to tell you the HD images are amazing...very sharp, clear, and colorful. Besides the 120 episodes, I found the 3+ hours of featurettes to be entertaining and informative. The set comes in a numbered limited edition box which also includes a Hot Wheels replica Batmobile, an episode guide, 44 vintage trading cards, and an Adam West scrapbook.

This blu-ray box set was all I wanted for my birthday. It's fantastic and amazingly colorful. My boyfriend and I are die hard fans of the show but always had to record it when it is on TV. I was ecstatic when they said they were releasing the complete set. The extras are fantastic and make this one of my favorite box sets ever. If you are a fan of campy Adam West batman then this is definitely a must have. It's simply purrrr-fect darlings...sorry I couldn't resist.

I was pleased to get this classic series delivered so stunningly on blu. It is absolute camp but it is pure brilliance. Video Quality = Unbelievable for something so old. Being that the original content was shot on film made it transfer stunningly Audio Quality = Good - as good as it can be for the time period no complaints. Extras = the best I have ever seen every series should get this treatment with all the accessories and full documentary.

I have been waiting for the classic TV show to be released in its entirety all of my life and it's finally happened. Half way through the set as of this review and picture and sound have been excellent. As mentioned online, there are some parts missing on a few episodes, but a replacement disc program has been started and I hope to get the new discs soon. I've waited this long for the series, a little longer for the missing stuff won't kill me.
