The long Halloween pt. 1 is so far a great rendition of the first half of the story. This is the story that inspired Nolan to direct the DK trilogy.

Promising first half to what is an ambitious story. Only thing I want though.. is a combination movie for this in 4K. That's all. Otherwise, near perfect.

Highly recommend to get if you’re thinking this is Batman that is in his prime ? definitely not it’s in the beginning years. Awesome movie cant wait for part 2

By far the best animated Batman movie of all time. There are several others I own and enjoy very much. Really faithful to the comic which is my favorite.

This movie, as does most of the DCA movies, has so much complexity. Incredible movie! We’ll worth it! Can’t wait for the 4K deluxe release!

A retelling of a classic Batman story. It has done a good job so far and my hope is it does not stray too far from the original as part 2 comes out.

I love the graphic novel. I have not seen the 2nd part yet. They appear to diverge from the comic but the animation, action, and voice work is great. Jensen Ackles makes a great young Batman and Josh Dumal makes a great Harvey Dent. Best DCAU movie I’ve seen in a while.

This is a must see movie if you read the actual story. This was a great purchase and I’m glad to see that they still are selling DVDs in Best Buy.

I like the mystery of trying to figure out who the holiday killer was. This showed Batman just starting to learn how to be a good detective.

Loved every minute of this movie, I wish it was in the comic style but this is doable. Can not wait for part 2, cliffhanger was a WOW moment.

This was another good Warner Brother animated movie. I would suggest watching both of the movies which is well worth your time.

A great adaptation of a great graphic novel. I do wish the animation style matched the art of the novel more but that is kind of nitpicking. It is beautifully animated and amazingly voiced. The cast for the film is amazing and I think they all fit their characters well.

Very much a love letter to the original graphic novel. Art style is great, story is entertaining as well as comic accurate thus far.

dc animated has hit it out the park again. i have purchased every single movie they have released and this is right at the top.

As with most DCAU films, good animation and voiceover work but also a story that follows the original graphic novel fairly closely before adding a twist that keeps diehard fans guessing. If you're a fan of the graphic novel, you should enjoy this considerably.
