It was overly Hyped,but the movie was still good. Ben Affleck was the star for sure!

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [DVD] [2016] is an amazing movie. It's a must have.

Purchased this movie as a gift for my son. I'm not a huge Batman /Superman fan but I really enjoyed watching this movie with the family!

Love this movie. Cant wait for another one to come out with supermans return! Wish wonderwoman had a bigger part though.

the special features and the extended R-rated edition are both amazing. Great flick , well done and entertaining.

The movie was ok, and the set I bought wasn't worth the full price. Honestly no blu ray disc sets shouls be more than $20. Dvds should be $6.99. Blu rays should be $12.99 and any extra sets meaning 3D or utraviolet sets should be $19.99. 4KUHD sets should be $24.99.

This is a great movie it could have used some more action but overall it has lived up to my expectations

Nearly every complaint I had in the theatrical cut was address in this version. If you haven't seen the film in a while or haven't seen it ever, please give this version of the film a try. You might end up liking it.

Regarding movie, I enjoyed it. Critics said the movie was too dark and lacked humor. Got to remember this movie was patterned after the Dark Knight trilogy which did well. I just felt that DC/Warner tried covering too much ground at once. It was a long movie based upon at least three separate storylines that each would've made good stand alone movies. Thought special effects in movie was done extremely well. Movie alone I would rate 4 stars. Regarding the hard cover graphic novel and ultimate edition combo package: For $40, I expected to get the $30 ultimate edition case plus a graphic novel. I bought online so guilty of buying before expecting. The inside of the back cover serves as the blue ray and ultimate blue ray disc slots and a small sticky sleeve for the DVD disc. It just makes it awkward to store entire graphic novel of different size with other DVDs\Blu-Rays. Also awkward to give graphic novel to kids with discs missing and having to store them in a generic case. As mentioned earlier, the graphic novel is a hard cover. It's nice summary of about 3-4 different novels of "Greatest Battles". If you already collect many of the Batman Superman novels, this probably won't be a huge bonus for you. If don't, then would like It does include a digital HD download redemption code. If you are fine with that combination especially for disc storage arrangement, then guess it's OK for novelty. For myself, I would've been fine with just the $30 Ultimate Edition set. The recommendation of No is for the Ultimate Edition & Graphic Novel set. For the movie alone, the recommendation would be a Yes. You would enjoy it.

So by now everyone or most have their own opinion on BvsS. I personally enjoyed very much in theaters despite critics and the negative social media it was getting. Now the Ultimate is so worth because you can really notice where does 30 minutes of film went. With does extra 30 minutes you meet Jimmy the photographer who we only just randomly meet and left with the "but who, why?". You understand the details of what happened to the villagers at the camp, why they are so angry and mostly you learn why Superman is not in favor of Batman. It's three hours and honestly worth it. This was announced with a looooot of mixed feelings from fans, the trailers gave away too much in my opinion and in the end I was completely satisfied with Wonder Woman. Whom which actress selection I was not in favor but now I'm good with the idea. Hope this helps out, be cool. *Photo is of the steel box version. One side is Batman and the other side Superman. I don't run to the newest tech all the time, but when I do I run to BestBuy and Blu-Ray was one of those times. I never bought into the Blu-Ray video craze thinking it was here today and gone tomorrow but when my son got an Xbox and this Batman v Superman Video went on sale at BestBuy I decided to check it out. Ok, Wonder Woman had something to do with it too. Anyway Blu-Ray makes such a big difference in video quality I went out and bought some other titles. Ben Affleck, as Batman, in this movie makes him look like a good actor. Henry Cavill plays Superman very well. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was a good pick for those of us who thought Lynda Carter was the only Wonder Woman. The Movie is good, very exciting and the special effects were excellent and it looks great on an RCA 55" HDTV that I purchased a few years ago on a Deal of the Day at BestBuy.

I was going to give this a 3 but giving it a 4 as my way of encouraging DC to keep trying. For the sale price that I got this I couldn't pass up purchasing it and because I like superhero movies in general I will recommend this but if you are just a passing fan then no need to rush to own/rent this unless you want to see the first appearance of Wonder Woman. Can't figure out why the DC character suffer on the big screen but seem to do well on the small screen. Maybe it is because DC seems to film everything in the dark all the time.

OK, so the DC Cinematic Universe never truly got off the ground. It was films like this that gave it a poor liftoff. But really, did DC have much of a choice? If they built Justice League exactly like Marvel's Avengers, people would have said it was a ripoff. So instead, they tired something different and people said "Why couldn't you be like Marvel?" *sigh* The ultimate cut does flesh out a few things, like why Lois Lane was doing in Africa in the opening scenes of the movie. But again, the whole impetus of the story... WHY is Batman fighting Superman, again? It's never really explained to anyone's satisfaction. Snyder's attempt to justify Superman, a hero of hope in such a gritty world never works because Superman IS a hero of hope. He represents the best, the brightest, the greatest. There's still good in this movie... Affleck as Batman (if only we could have gotten him in a better movie, but alas), Wonder Woman (WOW!!). But it just does not balance out the malaise, the drab, the dull, the yawn. There have been rumors of what Justice League could have been, a trilogy of epic proportions. In some parallel universe, people will have that. Hopefully in that universe we got a better version of this movie as well.

This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.
