Great, feel-good, sci-fi flick. Most of the special effects are quite dated but, they don’t distract from the story. The basic plot is the underdog standing up to their oppressor and the results that occur. I must say, this is the absolute best that I’ve seen or heard this picture look and sound.

This is a very cool SteelBook for an enjoyable movie. I have an urge to buy a second copy because of how much I like the artwork as well as the movie itself.

Well, anyone that grew up in the '80s knew that after the huge successes of Star Wars and 1980's The Empire Strikes Back, got more Sci-Fi than they could handle. This meant TV shows as well as movies. Roger Corman saw a way to do a SW like movie and make some money to boot. In my opinion, he was successful in doing that. Bring in some known names from the decade and see how it all goes. John Saxon was brought in to play the mean bad guy, Richard Thomas from The WALTON's TV show to be the main good guy trying to get mercenaries, George Peppard from TV's The A TEAM, and Sybil Danning, and icon of the era, model, etc. Robert Vaughan rounds out the well knowns as a lone mercenary that joins the fight out of boredom. The movie looks good and sounds good now. Fans of the movie should get this edition. The Blu-ray has artwork on it as well as the steelbook itself. Nice edition!! There are some special features, including a new interview with Actor Richard Thomas on the role of Shad in the movie and how he got it, etc. The menu is really nice, moving background with music and easy selections.

Great transfer and supplements for a completely cheesy Star Wars ripoff movie that helps explain whatever it was you just saw. Is this supposed to be the Seven Samurai meets Magnificent Seven? Yes. Is that John Boy from the Walton's? Yes. Does that spaceship have boobs? Yes. The story is a 3 out of 5. The acting is 5 out of 5 for the sheer "what am I doing in this?" moments. The miniatures are a 5 of 5. When you stop to think of what they pulled off for one billionth the budget of today's CGI fest it's really quite something. But, is it good? That's for you to decide.

A cult classic in every sense of the word. A small budget sci-fi that is above the average B-flick. This movie holds a special place in my heart for the type of movie it is. It has Always been a joy to take this movie in every once in a while, and remember those days. The 2k transfer looks terrific. The sound is not bad either. For an old movie the 5.1 track packs a punch. Nice upgrade from the previous release.

The bluray picture and sound are great. I purchased the steelbook which is beautiful. Great buy for classic sci-fi. I wish bestbuy would do the Doug McClure classics like The Land That Time Forgot.

A big-budget (for Roger Corman) post Star Wars cash-in, but is really a space fantasy riff on The Seven Samurai / Magnificent Seven, as such it is quite entertaining, if you have the original Blu-ray release this remaster is a definite improvement and worth the money. Recommended!

I absolutely love this space opera. One of Roger Cormans best works. It had a previous release by Shout Factory but has been revisited with this awesome steel book edition.

Had never heard of this movie until I started digging into the Magnificent Seven. Was kind of surprised with the actors that appeared in it. Totally embraces that corny low budget movie special effects vibe which I find pretty cool as I get older.

It’s cheesy but in the best way possible! This is the type of movie my dad would show us on a rainy Saturday afternoon as kids. Loved it!

Beautiful steelbook! Gorgeous cover art. I was not familar with this title but it's a funny campy sci-fi movie. I really enjoyed it.

If you like sci-fi then you'll like this. Has great special effects. It should have been reissued in 4k.

Fun and energetic vintage SIFI flick that is a great watch if you live weird older space movies

I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid and loving it!! Sure, the special effects aren't the greatest, but the story is classic and unique setting of outer space makes it a must see
