if you like watching our military handle alien invasions this movie is for you. aaron eckhart from batman is in it as the platoon sergeant who must lead his men and women on this mission against the aliens which is not easy. michele rodriguez is also along for the adventure. she was also part of the fast and furious movie franchise.

If you were looking for an Oscar contender you picked the wrong movie. But if you were looking for how a group of Marines would kick some alien butt all over LA you have the right movie.

I was hesitant about this movie at first . It had mixed reviews and I was skeptical. Although after seeing it on BluRay I really enjoyed it. It was like watching a video game unfold in front of me with out the controller in my hand.

I expected an action-packed, sci-fi, shoot 'em up movie and that's what I got. Don't expect a sophisticated plot, fully developed characters or award-winning writing. It is what it is. Good entertainent.

This is one of the best war movies i have seen! Awesome plot, awesome effects, and just so addictive to watch! I can watch this over and over! I will prefer this to any war movie fan!

Battle L.A. is a unique take on the alien invasion story. You see the invasion from the military's perspective and it's an exciting time. Special effects are awesome too. Highly recommended!

I watched this thru payperview and loved it. I had to get the blu ray. I have watched it twice since buying it. I do not know why, perhaps subliminal suggestion, but I think this is a great movie. I am going to go watch it again now.

Pretty good for an alien invasion movie. It seems more realistic than most. It's like a war movie that just happens to have aliens in it.

It is a great movie. My wife usually does not like to watch movies like this about any battle, but she enjoyed it. She came to talk to me after I started the movie and was sucked into the story. Great movie!

If you're looking for an action only movie with lots of military propaganda look no further. Gunfights and explosions is what this movie is about. As an action flick this movie is great, but don't look for a good story line or acting. This is pure shoot em up. Blu-ray has exceptional picture and sound quality, especially the sound. Gun fights sound amazing with a decent sound system (not home theater in a box systems).

Was a ton of fun watching a movie that takes place with the destruction of the cities I work in! The action was really good, not amazing but still really good!

While it is packed full of cliches and predictable characters, "Battle: LA" Delivers in the Action department. I view this film strictly as a Live-Action Video Game, and leave it at that. While the acting can be wooden, and the story simple and non-developed. The film will suffice for people who enjoy the genre and to kick back and watch some dumb-fun action.

I loved the movie! 'Merica! Nothing like seeing the Marines woop some Alien a**! Its a normal action / scifi movie. enough said... go see it!
