I love soundtracks. Usually I come across them in the movies that I watch. I will notice the impact that the score has on the film itself and research it further. By the time I get around to purchasing it, there is already buzz surrounding it. That did not happen with this score. I watched the movie but somehow passed over the score. But, while researching another score I checked out the 'People who liked this also liked this...' button and found 'Battle: Los Angeles. I am not sure how I did not notice the score when watching the movie itself. There are a few cues that I could do without, where they sound too generically military, but the rest of the score is incredible. I am glad I stumbled across this score.
