Definitely one of the worst WWII movies that I have ever had an opportunity to view. The movie represents a very poor attempt to portray the opening stages of Germany's last major offensive on the western front during WWII. The battle of the Bulge occurred between December 16, 1944 and January 25, 1945 and Germany committed over 400,000 men & 1400 tanks in an effort to turn the tide of the Allied offensive. During the initial stages allied Air power was grounded due to weather conditions. The movie lacked the appropriate type and number of military props such as armored vehicles, tanks, artillery, trucks and troops. In addition various locations in the movie also lacked SNOW covered ground required for this type of undertaking. And finally the attempt to recreate the massacre of US prisoners that took place On December 17, 1944 at Malmedy by German SS Troops was very poorly done. I also found the quality of the acting and stunts to be poor. In my opinion the ONLY redeeming part of the movie was in the closing credits which included the name and rank of the US Army soldiers who were awarded the Medal of Honor for their individual actions during the engagement.
