Customers are delighted by the smooth gameplay and the large maps in Battlefield 2042. Some find the discounted price appealing. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding bugs, the absence of a campaign mode, the replacement of the class system, and the amount of content available in the game.

This series was great but not having a story campaign was lack lustering but many never really finish them anyway rather rely on the Multiplayer but bad at launch but now works well.

It's a really good game now. After the October and November 2022 updates there is a good amount of content to play and most of the bugs are fixed. A pretty enjoyable game for me.

This is a very fun game with a massive open world field for being a multiplayer map. I don't think that the mediocre reviews are very justified as I really enjoy playing this game with all of my friends.

Another title added to the Battlefield series, following Battlefield 5. This feels a lot like a sequel to Battlefield 4. Overall good game, make sure that it's Series X enhanced and grab on a decent sale. The titles are known to drop in price after launch.

Fun game, lots of action. Servers are still populated. It’s better than I expected it to be. Got it on sale at the beginning of season 5.

The graphics are incredible. The gameplay definitely isn't the best BF compared to even BF 1. Overall much better state than launch though.

This game is a lot of fun if you have the patience. You can die really quick if you don’t watch your surroundings like a hawk. It’s always fun to run your hover craft up a building denying all physics. It’s hilarious.

New fan of the Battlefield series, but I was thrilled to dive into Battlefield 2042. No disappointments here. From the moment I launched the game, I was sucked in with the game’s large-scale battles, diverse environments, and online PVP. Best part is that, since its initial release, the developers have worked hard to fix many if not all the bugs and glitches that were present at launch.

It’s a pretty solid game but missing a lot of things from previous games. It was rushed so it’s gonna take months to have new content for the game but the concept of the game is very good. Don’t believe all the negative talk about the game because all of it ain’t true. Even with the missing features. I’d still play it over every other battlefield game right now because it’s gonna be an amazing game soon.

I think they’ve done a fantastic job fixing this game. I find it to be more fun than BFV, and I get BF4 vibes from it now. I’m not a new player mind you, as I have reached level 140 in BF4 and 150 in BF1. BFV was so bad in my opinion that I hardly played it but I am definitely back into the series with this game. Give it a try and if you really don’t like it then it was still a good deal at under $20.

Very good game for players who like variety in their gameplay. The vehicles in the game add another layer of strategy, and variety of gameplay types.

This game was terrible ar launch. The storm gimmick is something I completely forgot about. Portal is the way to play since thats where the server browser exists. Hazard Zone is forgetable. Personally I’d still play BF4

The developers messed around too much with signature BF multiplayer, losing the true Battlefield identity in the process of devolving it for the Call of Duty audience. 2042’s Specialists’ skills don’t really change a team’s dynamic much. The game was distributed without adequate preparation, with a variety of bugs and underdeveloped features.

Fun game to play. A bit out of place with the prior titles, but seems to be moving in the right direction and feels like a true next gen game. I played the demo at launch and chose to wait until summer to buy cheap, and it was worth the $20 for a significantly better experience than in November.
