Customers admire Battlefield 4's impressive graphics and engaging multiplayer modes, citing the fun game modes and large maps as highlights. The game's realism, including features like bullet drop and windage, is also frequently praised, along with the variety of vehicles available. However, some players point to a short and somewhat flawed campaign as a drawback, and others mention issues with bugs and lag.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. Prior to owning BF4, I was a huge fan of BF3 and was a bit anxious to see how this game could be improved upon .And boy did they improve upon it. The graphics are so much better .They really payed close attention to every little detail , making the battlefield experience very life like. I'm sure any real vets seeing this are rolling their eyes, I know I know.... NOTHING is as close to the real thing as actually being in Iraq or Afghanistan somewhere fighting, but for a video game, NOTHING beats it. There are many game modes that make for hours and hours of continuous fun, tons of maps, new weapons etc etc etc. This game is BOSS. There is nothing else to say about it , but that I recommend if you are planning to purchase a PS4 , you gotta pick up a copy. You won't regret it.

I was blown away with how much fun this game was online. The campaign was enjoyable, but I am used to the great stories of the old Call of Duty games, so I did not find myself getting as attached to the characters as I would have then. The graphics are AMAZING, the 64-player multiplayer online is just a ton of fun. Every match had a different feel to it, and it was fun to work through each of the maps. I liked playing this game on PS4 more than I did on Xbox One.

If you're into shooters and like a good story get this game.
The online is out of this world. There's so many players all at once on one map.
The choices of gear and weapons is definitely a breath of fresh air from the Call of Duty franchise. The maps are fun to explore and plenty of places to snipe people from.

This game is fantastic, period. Most people buy the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises for one reason, online multi-player, and this game has it on lockdown. The size of the maps and the player interaction changes depending on what game mode you choose. If you want to have an intense, bloody, all out infantry confrontation your maps will be just the right size. More interested in sitting back and sniping people off from a mile away? Play one of the larger map game modes. Want to play for objectives in an intense, all out war on a massive scale? Yeah, we've got that for you. Some of these maps on the bigger games modes are so massive it is hard to believe you are: A - playing on a console / B - playing a video game at all! I was in an Obliteration game and was sitting on top of a sky scraper, picking people off that were running by on the street below with a 40 time magnitude zoom. All of a sudden I hear a massive explosion and the building starts to cave-in/collapse. I end up jumping off and parachuting the the ground several blocks away, all the while watching the carnage as I float down. The single player campaign, while "thrilling" at times is not the reason to buy this game. It's all about the multi-player. The only thing that bugs me is that you cannot play split screen, either local or online so to play with your friends you will need to play from multiple televisions with multiple systems on multiple ip addresses.

We're talking 64 players online, huge maps, vehicles you can drive, and many things are destructible. There's no better feeling than taking out a house full of players by collapsing the roof with your tank or firing a missile from a plane.

Being a FPS and global warfare fan, this game did not fall short of my expectations.
Initially I purchased this, but returned it for the special edition of the game that included the China Rising expansion. They were the same price for a little more content in the special edition (highly recommended you double check what you are purchasing before you buy so you don't make the same mistake as I did).
The single-player campaign was awesome, seemed like I was in charge of a movie. While I'm not a fan of how the cinematics are getting in video games, it was still pretty freaking awesome! The progression and length it took just on normal felt pretty on par with what to expect.
The multiplayer so far has been amazing! The global warfare is awesome. I've always been a fan of the Battlefield series, even Bad Company, because the ability to switch classes and go from soldier to pilot to commander, or equipment operator in an AC-130 just blows me away.
The graphics are said to be better than the Xbox One (running 720p vs. 900p in the PS4), but all in all the gameplay is what makes this great. The progression through multiplayer gets you hooked with trying to constantly achieve new rewards and unlocks. The fully destructible environment made me sit in awe the first time I watched a huge mutli-story building fall and crumble before me... Then the next time I was inside as it happened and had no idea why I was "Killed in Action" until I realized it wasn't a timer making the building fall..... It was the constant barrage of shells and rockets that made the building deteriorate and crumble with me in it.
The game is a great addition to the series, and cudos to the developers for this one. I look forward to the additions in the future, and think the "season pass" (Battlefield Premium) is totally worth it.

Have this game on PS3 and PS4. One of my favorite games because you could use all sorts of vehicles and weapons plus the maps are huge. The only thing I wish they would change is being able to play split screen bit other than that one of the best video games to be created.

BF4 is a great game that is starting to suffer from the CoD effect (yearly releases which lead to an under-supported game). BF4 was released with a myriad of bugs that listed so long, the Devs needed to suspend work on Downloadable Content (DLC). My experiences w/the PS3 version were almost unbearable, but since upgrading to the PS4 edition, I feel like many of the issues that plagued the last-gen edition have at least been addressed, if not fixed. The game looks far superior, even with a max of 64 players running around at once and I hardly get lag in those situatons.

Battlefield 4 is a great starter for the PS4, if you have multiplayer. If you have multiplayer/PS Gold it makes the experience very nice. Great/Fun maps and 32 on 32 player battles if you play conquest. The campaign isn't bad, but it's just starts you in a random area to begin the story, you don't know why you are exactly there to begin with and why. Your really just thrown into the campaign with a gun and no ammo. I purchased the Season pass also, and the new maps have to work out there bugs, but it's definitely a great game for multiplayer, especially with friends.

This is my first BF game and the PS4 delivers the epic scale that the PC crowd has been use to for years. Aside from the connection issues that I experienced early on and the inexplicable inability to form a party with friends for easy matchmaking, the multiplayer is the best I have ever played for a FPS. The campaign is short and forgettable but shows off the power of the PS4 and the frostbite engine. I have already sunk 42 hours into the multiplayer in the first month and a half along.

This was the first game I bought for PS4 and is an exciting game with outstanding graphics. Story is interesting and ability to use different weapons is in my opinion one of the best achievements on this game. The only part that I do not quite like is the limitation the game has itself regarding the gaming experience on the campaign story, first of all is quite short compared to other games although I can live with that since nowadays the main part of any game is the online gaming experience. However what is quite frustrating on the game (campaign story) is the lack of different experiences if played more than once the entire campaign (or even just one part of it) even if changed the difficulty level, this comes as a result of finding yourself playing the same obstacles step by step with no chances of making any different decision as a player.
Overall I would recommend this game since I said earlier, this game is more focused in the online gaming which in my opinion has no problems.

BF4 is a different pace than CoD. It isn't as fast but it still can be intense. I've had some epic gaming moments. It's a very nice change if and when you get tired of the fast twitch the CoD series requires. This is coming from a PC gamer. Current gen consoles have finally caught up with PC graphics. I still prefer kb and mouse but its nice to have both console and pc options for gaming.
