Great Game!

This is a great game overall with good graphics, great sounds, fun to play, and very addicting.
Solo Campaign:
-Not too short, but not the longest I've ever played. Pretty typical of a modern FPS.
-Very challenging at times, specially on harder difficulty levels. Very rewarding when you are able to get through a part you were stuck on.
-Action packed with a lot of variety. Different vehicles to drive or fly, rail scenes, and plenty of bad guys to shoot!!
Multiplayer:
-Highly squad(team) based. No more running and gunning and being rewarded. You are able to mark enemies that you cant shoot and get rewarded with points if your teammates take them out. Stick with your squad and you are rewarded with things like ammo boxes, med kits, or even reviving downed teammates, depending on the class you choose.
-Destructable buildings make it harder for campers or abusing certain spots in the map. You can litteraly take down an entire building, any trees, fences. Etc...
I would reccommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the FPS genre.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is amazing. I've been playing the Beta on PS3 which is limited to just one game mode. So far i love it. The level of realism in this game is much higher than most. I own and play Call of Duty MW2 and although they are both First Person Shooters that is where the similarities stop. Battlefield's game play requires more than the ability of the player to point and shoot. Weapons have bullet drop and real physics are used... meaning you have to lead a target that is running to be able to get a hit. I love the fact that this is one of the few games that give u a complete feel of battlefield combat with a range of weapons and vehicles and other support elements (mortar strikes ect.) I am also really anticipating the release of the PC version, since i have a very adequate PC gaming rig. In Summary, fans of battlefield will not be disappointed with this latest installment of the franchise. Its a great game that doesn't leave the player asking is that all?

Is not the best (OVERALL) game out there

This game is not bad, but it can be a lot better. Single player missions are very lame. The story line is nice, but the overall mission/gameplay is very lame, slow and lack of fun stuff. Online Multiplayer is a lot better. Now, this first week EA/DICE/XBOX 360 is having conection problems/issues, making your game freeze up or it kick you out from the game. Sometimes you even can't join a game because it kept saying 'searching for a game' forever. But once you all set up and ready to play is a lot of fun, specially if you like tu snipe. I'm a COD fan, but once a play this game, is hard to go back.

Basically this game is similar to call of duty in a lot of ways it is so much fun online at first i was skeptical but i gave it time and it actually has really impressed me Especially becsue it was created by a EA team which before this game i would have said that they should stick with sports games. Bu anyway the destuctablility of the buildings in this games adds a lot to the online gamplay you can pul out a rocket launcher and blow a hole in the side of a house and then climb the steps inside the house and just start sniping, I mean you can destroy buildings all the way to the ground it is quite impressive. And the vehicles in the game are not over powered or annoying at all. The maps are quite large but in no way are they too big. i mean you dont get killed from behing nearly as often as you do in cod or halo. And battlefield is just as good as both of those games although it pains me to say this, it is even better in some ways. Espacially the online matchmaking it is in some ways better as well because it does not have many errors ever.

Best FPS Ever!

I am an owner of the first BF:BC for 360 and its probaly the best thing I ever bought for it besidesm for Fallout 3. This game in my opion is the best FPS ever! One major reason is... take a look at all other games that are FPS... Now, lets take the new call of duty MW2 game for instant, in this game you get missles and all kinds of things that create big explosions! BUT, BattleField Bad Company you could do the same and see effects like scared battlefields and cause damage to Ground, Building, and Ect... Call of duty you can`t!
The new BC probaly have alot more stuff in it making it Five Time more better than any FPS...

I loved the campaign on this game. The graphics were killer, love the little mini clips of action inbetween gameplay, and the use and variety of vehicles. I dont like the multiplayer one bit. The graphics of the multiplayer aren't very good and i don't like the rank up system. I would recommend this game for the campaign over MW2 but MW2's online blows this games multiplayer to pieces.

Best Battlefield Yet

It seems that Battlefield keeps re-inventing itself. This latest game is a multiplayer onslaught of great visuals, powerful gameplay, and squad-based tactics. If you don't work together, it's tough to win in the online play. Unlike other online war sims, this one really makes you work together with your squad. The game offers tremendous customization with your weapons, gadgets, ect. as well as some fantastic vehicles including Apache and Hind choppers to tanks and water crafts. Simply the best online action I've played.

Battlefield Modern Combat 2

This game is everything the first Bad Company should have been, but was not. Warning the online Demo gives this game no Justice. It was created using the first Bad Company Frostbite engine, not the with the New Bad Company 2 Frostbite engine, so don't bother downloading it. Just rent a copy at your local video rental store and try it out before you buy it and then you can really judge the game and it's game play quality. My first Xbox 360 game was Battlefield Modern Combat, when DICE came out with Bad Company they lost everything that was good about Battlefield and screwed the game up. Me and my friends did like most and jumped ship to COD4 and WaW after that. Now the table is turning, COD is loosing all of us to Bad Company 2 because the game has way to much cheating, with Glitches, exploits, modded controllers and many, many more issues. In either case, Bad Company 2 has everything the franchise had lost with the first installment of the series. We had high hopes for this game because of what we saw in Battlefield 1943, which we played a lot when it came out. Bad Company 2 is a team game, cowboys and loaners will cost the team the win if they don't work with there team mates to co-ordinate there efforts. It's a great game. I carry my team a lot of times to victory, but only because they keep me informed and protected so I can do my best. If you liked Battlefield Modern Combat, you will like this game also.

This game is probably the greatest online game I've ever played. It completely destroys Modern Warfare 2, and even Call of Duty 4. They're going to need to create a word to describe this game. I like the unlock system more than I like the system in CoD. To unlock snipers, you need to use the Recon class and get a certain amount of xp, same with assault rifles, lmg's, and smg's. I'm only about halfway through the campaign, but it's really cool. If you like fps games, this will probably change the way you think about them.

EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL

I've been a Battlefield fan for a long long time, since the first PC game came out! I've followed them even more so when it was available on Xbox then 360. Modern Combat was good but you'd run over a simple 55 gallon drum with an M1A1 and get stuck, run into a tree and damage your vehicle. The next BFBC came out this wasn't an issue and you could blow walls and roofs off buildings, run over trees, etc. I'm an Army Vet and play BFBC with a bunch of Military Vets that thoroughly enjoy this game. Almost like real life if you didn't know any better. In BFBC2 you can demolish whole buildings (literally), trees move in the wind, more defined weaponry, better graphics, etc. If you're not into FPS games this probably won't be for you (or if you have severe ADD). But if you are into FPS you'll never put this game away. MW2 fans, buy this game and you won't play MW2 ever again! And now BFBC2 you HAVE to work as a Squad! I used to play Halo1,2,3 and I haven't touched it since! I pre-ordered as soon as I could!

Battlefield has always been a fun game to play. I am a avid gamer and love playing online, the online experience that BFBC2 delivers is like no other. The only lack in multiplayer would be the low number of maps and game modes. BFBC2 is everything a shooter game should be, fun, fast paced, exciting, and vehicles. BFBC2 uses a squad based system which really emphasizes teamwork and really pays off if played well. I highly recommend this game to and shooter fan. It can be played by both the average gamer and the hardcore gamer.

This Is A Game To Have

Ok, for starters, this is a great game. Sure, there are times when you thought you killed a person, and yet the have a lot of health remaining, but that can be your internet connection. Even with an ok internet connection, this game is not as bad as MW2. If you have a 3 bar connection on MW2, then that game SUCKS! Graphics are great, unless you REALLY stare at a tree or something. Overall, a great game to have in your collection!

This game is great. But if your still deciding between this game and Mw2. I'll show you some differences.
Battlefield Bad company2
pros- Vehicles, tons of weapons and classes to choose from, Everything is destructible. New online modes, tons of medals, and sandbox maps.
cons- just one thing the weapons could be better.
Modern Warfare 2
pros- cool guns, awesome maps, movement.
cons- needs more classes, bigger maps, no hacked servers, better weapons, and longer campaign.
I would get Battlefield bad company 2 or just wait to get Halo reach which will be GREAT!!

I have had this game one day. The one thing I really don't like is all of the cinematics. It should just let me play the game more. I realize there is a purpose behind it but I like to jump right in to it. The map sizes are great but you can get lost in it. Oh, if you are going to put the written words on a screen make sure people can read them. I would have to walk right up to the screen on my TV to read it, not that I am reading it. Oh, one little gripe, we can only stand and crouch, what about laying prone? Just a little gripe but I would like to do that to creep up on people when I am playing online.

Unlike some other war based games, this game has a great single player campaign that's very enjoyable. The online play obviously is where the main point of this game lies. It's not a game that is meant for the lone ranger soldier. Online teamwork with BF:BC2 is key and a requirement to win the rounds. The downside to this is that there's no training in the game to familiarize players with the jobs and duties that they're about to undertake. Therefore players are thrust into the online game with no clue of how to benefit their teammates. This can lead to frustration and dislike of the online play. If you can persevere through this stage (the first 4-5 levels) however, it's one of the best online war games made to date.

This game is not what I expected at all. The graphics are cool and very colorful but still kinda cartoonish. I dont know how to eplain the character movement excepet maybe a walking bobble head doll and is probably the thing I dislike the most. It almost feels like I am forceing the character around the map.
Weapons seem pretty weak, sniper takes to many shots to kill, gun sights are lame, respawing in front of a bullet is lame, everyone snipeng is lame, running around trying to find something to shoot and getting shot over and over by snipers is lame, did I mention respwaning is lame?
I feel this game is far from a great FPS game but it is still fun to play and if you have patience in time you will probably get better and start to enjoy the game. As for me I have yet to find the real fun yet but am not going to give up because right now I am sick of MW2 and all the cheating and boosting ect. If and when Infinity Ward fixes all this I will probably spend less time on BFC2.
One thing I almost forgot to metion is that I really do love the map layouts better than MW2 . When you crouch behind a window you are pretty much out of site which is not the case in MW2 where you are still pretty visible. I do not understand why there is no prone in BFC though, kind sucks I think but whatever. So go buy the game you will most likely love it and if not just trade it.

This is a must for anyone who enjoy games that require team work.
The single player is fun, but nothing compared to the multiplayer. The modes are fun and there is non stop action the whole match. By yourself this game may not be that fun, just because not alot of randoms go for the objective, but with a few friends in a squad and you will see the time fly by. Def will recommend to anyone.
The only complaint/dislike is the movement of the characters when in running motion, it seems a little to stiff from what I am used to, but that is it.
