Customers are positive about the game's impressive graphics, enjoyable multiplayer mode, and the variety of vehicles available. They also appreciate the large map size and the relatively realistic feel of the game. However, customers are negative about the game's controls, which some found unusual and difficult to master initially, and the somewhat short and repetitive campaign. The storyline also received criticism for being weak and uninspired.

Great Online Multiplayer

Terrific multiplayer game, if a bit short on maps. The massive size of the maps helps make up for this, though. This game makes you feel like you are in the middle of Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down; walls will explode in on you, you can call in air strikes on tanks or armored cars, the variety of classes allows for great teamwork, and it just incredibly fun to play.
Too bad none of that stuff is true about the single player. The AI is all knowing and 100% accurate; there's no getting the drop on these guys, and they don't use tactics so much as just track you, even through walls, and open fire as soon as they have a clear line of sight. Eventually the campaign becomes the same loop of objectives (drive to town, secure it, repeat), so if you don't have Xbox LIVE Gold, I would stay away from this one. If you do, then it's a great purchase (though maybe a little pricey at $60).

Well designed shooter, lacks innovation.

I would only recommend this game to diehard fans of the Battlefield series. Online multiplayer can be fun, but the campaign lacks innovation. You'll spend most of the time trying to reach your destination. Once you get there, you'll get sent off to the next destination.
The destructable environment is fun for a little while, but after a while its nothing special. You can only destroy external walls and roofs to buildings, and trees dissapear shortly after knocking down. You can call in artillary bombardments or guided air-to-ground missiles, but they are used from gadgets of which you can only carry one at a time, and they have cooldown timers before you can use them again. Infinate uses however.
Vehicles are fun, but once again, nothing special. Vehicles can be repaired using power tools, unrealistic but usefull. If you've played a previous Battlefield game, you've basically played this. Using the iron sights on guns is a nice change, but only a select few guns use them, the rest still run off aiming redicals and crosshairs. You can only carry one gun, unless you have a sniper rifle as they come with side arms. You do not get to mix and match rifles and side arms though, its all pre-arranged. Sub-machine guns and shotguns include rifle grenades, and light machine guns have standard grenades, again its all pre-arranged.
Story line is lacking, you have no real long term goal in this game, just taking orders from dispatch. Combat lacks blood and the AI isn't much better then last generation console games.
Overall, this game is nothing special. Get this game only if you really enjoy battlefield games, as this game isn't even as humorous as it was advertised to be.

So far my experience with Battlefield: Bad Company is great. I love the campaign so far and the graphics are good too. The best part about this game is the explosions and the sound that goes along with them. You can destroy almost 100% of anything around you. Also, the multiplayer can supply with tons of fun because you can play with up to 24 players on each team and can blow up anything in your sight. You can even ride in helicopters to other military vehicles. This game is one of a kind and that is why it seserves 5 stars.

Bad Company - The Other Side

This is a fun game that brings modern warfare to a somewhat realistic game play. You can get in hummers, tanks, and even helicopters, and destroy almost everything. It brings the fast paced, realism from Call of Duty 4 and the fun un-realistic gameplay from Halo 3.
The controls are very wierd and hard to get used to. You have to cycle through buttons to select your secondary weapon or your grenade or your special grenade, etc. Sniping online is almost impossible unless your target is standing completely still. This game takes in the Coreolis effect, and counts for lag time, which is realistic, but frustrating when you cannot even kill anyone. So you have to aim several feet in front of your target to have any hope. Your health does not regain; much like the millions of other games, you need to find a medic or health packs to regain health.
Other than those cons, everything else about this game is great. Personally, I'm gonna buy Top Spin 3 on June 24th. haha

I downloaded the demo and I can't seem to stop playing it. I can't wait to get the real game. The map in the demo is huge and fun to play. You can travel the map anyway that you want pretty much: by chopper, humvee, buggies, tanks and you can also have passengers in your vehicles on machine guns. You can also blow up almost everything in the game. Great game and you should definetely buy it when it comes out.

GREAT DEMO

This game is great, the fact that it is that realistic and has great graphics is unbelievable when you realize it's only the demo. That being said, I wish I had the actual game because while the demo is awesome, it's still only the demo. The game-play experience itself is amazing, you actually need to know what you're doing, it's not some game where you can run around and randomly shoot people. It requires teamwork and communication. You can ride and drive boats, tanks, choppers, jeeps, and tanks, the guns are sweet and realistic. The map in the demo is huge, so I imagine the other maps will to, but like I said, you can drive vehicles all over the map so no worries. And while friendly fire is on, your teammates are marked by a small blue X, so you'll know who to shoot, and who not to shoot.

I remember I saw this commercial and I thought what a LAME gme. Anyways I rented it and honestly was "Hooked"! The story line is kinda weak and ALL the lame jokes aside the landscapce, characters and detail are pretty darm good.
I DID underestimate this game at first but now I can't stopn playin' the MultiPlayer. At least until GoW2 comes out I'll be playing this for awhile!

This game is very tactical and can be really fun when playing online with your freinds. The single player is very cool it is pretty hard but fun to play. This game is way more realistic compared to Call Of Duty 4 because the health in this game stays down once wounded and that makes the game really hard if you dont have people on your team that cooperate.

Best Game of The Summer

This game is great from start to finish. Unlike some other bland shooters, you actually care about your character. The game play is very similar to that of Call of Duty 4, except it has a comedic undertone. Battlefield: Bad Company also has a vehicle section and the vehicles are actually really good. The online game play is great and trades the boring old death match & team death match for a gold game. If you're the defender, you have to protect your gold crates, until all of the attackers are dead and you have infinite lives. If you are an attacker, you have a limited amount of lives and must destroy the gold crates before your team runs out of lives. Everyone on the attackers side share one pool of extra lives. In a sea of garbage games that came out over the summer, this was the huge exception. Great game. Worth every penny. The only negative was the lack of Co Op game play.

Halo mixed with Call of Duty.

Bad Company is like a mix of halo and call of duty. You get plenty of vehicles and it takes a lot of bullets to kill someone like on Halo, and you get the realistic military setting like in Call of Duty. The campaign is long but gets boring too easily and the story and characters are forgettable. Besides Haggard maybe, but that's a big maybe. My only real complaint about online is that the sniper rifles are way too underpowered. It always takes at least two shots to kill someone, even if you're using the .50 caliber M95, which is ridiculous. At long enough ranges I've seen people take two sniper bullets to the head. Other than that this is a fun online shooter and for $20 it's a good deal. If you like the military setting but don't like the two bullets you're down gameplay of Call of Duty this is the game for you. Oh, and yes blowing stuff up is really fun as well.

A fun shooter with surprising humor

Battle field Bad Company involves you playing a guy named Marlowe who is put into a rag-tag platoon called Bad Company, which is basically the miltary bottom of the ladder. The squad is assigned the worst of the worst, and in the midst of your current mission, you find out that a group of mercenaries is carrying massive quantities of gold. Your group, which includes the Seargent, know-it-all Sweetwater, and the undereducated but enthusiastic Haggard, is about as far from professional military as it can get, but you all band together and decide to go into restricted territory to find to loot, thereby being declared AWOL and abandoned by your army.
The game's a lot of fun, and the destructible environments never really get old. There's a lot of ways to play this, and one of the great aspects of the game is that you can play it straight through fast to get through it, or you can try to collect all of the items along the way. Also, the humor of the game itself makes it a really enjoyable experience all around. It's a long enough game, about 15 hours if you rush through it, or more if you take your time. The graphics are quite good, and while this isn't an entirely groundbreaking experience, it's likely one that you won't regret taking part in.

Okay so I guess you can say I'm easily entertained by massive explosions, shooting missles and shredding a building with a light machine gun. This game has fun campaigns, but even better on-line play. The maps are sooo huge you sometimes have to run through long grass fields just to find someone to kill. Awesome use of many vehicles and a huge variety of weapons! Go get it today!

First of all this games is very fun. I've had for 2 weeks now and it seems fine no freezing or glitching. Although more multiplayer game types only one Gold Rush where there are Attackers and Defenders of Gold Crates. Singleplayer is very long so anyone can play not say its too short. The graphics are AMAZING with enviornments that crumble to your liking this game would be perfect with a HD TV or LCD. Although they kind of the say the s word a lot I won't explain that. This game could be fun for the whole family except it's very hard sometimes but there aren't really checkpoints when you die you respawn where it saved but all the enemies you killed last time are dead vehicles included for those achievement junkies this one has some easy ones and has 50 of them and 25 ranks . Buy this game now for 60 dollars it's definitely worth it. I am still playing this game its amazing one of my favorites. Go buy this game and enjoy amazing scenery and intense battles with laser designators and artirlerry strike computer things grenade launchers collectibles and more Have Fun when you get this game if you're reading my review that is

I enjoy this game a lot, its very fun to play online but as stated in earlier reviews the campaign is a little short. The new gold rush game type is quite a good addition to the battlefield series, they have also released and update to add the old conquest game type which is just what i expected from a battlefield game. This game is not as intense as call of duty 4 and that's why i enjoy it more, its a lot more laid back and there aren't nearly as many 10 year old kids telling you that you suck in this game. If you want a team death match type game this is probably not the game for you if you want a game that makes you think just a little bit and work toward an objective check this one out

I recently downloaded the demo and tried out both the single player as well as the multiplayer. The graphics are pretty incredible. The recoil or the gun, the way you move the gun when you run is all amazing. Also the realism of being able to destroy buildings and fences etc. it makes you feel as if you're in the battle yourself. Only con is the controls are strange at first. Took me a little while to catch on. But after that you'll love it.

I love the game for its online play because you have so many weapons(once you unlock them) that you can use and the sounds and graphics are great. I do wish that they had a regular team vs. team matches but what they got is still super fun. I think this game is better than COD because the game feels more realistic and you can fly a helicopter land is then go in a boat and then tanks or jeeps which is great to me. COD has pretty much been the same game play for me so there's really no surprise when you play although it is fun but I just didn't connect with it fully.

What I really like about the game was the fact that you can blow up any building. I loved shooting rockets at walls and watching them crumble to the ground showing the sniper now fully exposed. The graphics were very good and I really loved the story line. It is about a man sent to the army rather then jail. He joins a group of people called Bad Company. These men are pretty much like pawns on a chessboard. they are always sent into battle first. Preston soon finds a very good reason to fight the battle. Gold.
The game is mostly based on multiplayer. The campaign is more like a big tutorial getting you ready for online play. Playing online is very fun. When you are a sniper, your ghillie suit actually hides you very well in bushes and such (unlike CoD4). When playing with friends, the game can be extremely fun. My friend and I would communicate and flank enemies, distract them while I took the flag, and etc.
The one big complaint I have about this game is the fact that there aren't enough weapons. There are only a handful of them to choose from and they aren't customizable. I truly hope the next game focuses more on the freedom of customization.

Battlefield: Bad Company for Xbox 360 is a fun FPS game.
The single Player game is long and tough and sometimes feels like it goes on for ever. You'd get your money's worth for buying it.
On the other hand,Multiplayer is great and it seems the servers will be shutting down soon in favor of the sequal. So if you're into achievements time is running out to 1000gs this game.

Pros:
-Interactive and destructive maps. That is really cool, you can blow holes through absolutly ANYTHING, you can also chop down trees.
-Amazing graphics (could hurt your eyes sometimes).
-A lot of people play it.
-Tons of guns to choose from.
-Vehicles are fun.
Cons:
-Story gets boring.
-You can knife through fences (seriously?).
-Can't go prone (that is sad, especially for an FPS).
-Not customizable.
-Very few online modes to choose from.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this game. There are other FPS's out there that are FAR more fun than Battlefield Bad Company. Try 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' or 'Call of Duty: World at War'. Those two games are amazing.
