Customers frequently mention the enjoyable gameplay, immersive story, and engaging single-player campaign of Battlefield Hardline. Many also praised the action-packed nature and affordable price point. However, some players expressed disappointment with the size of the maps and the selection of vehicles. The game's overall reception appears to be positive, despite these minor criticisms.

Hardline is a great mix of graphics, levels and story. It has a great twist to the standard first person shooter. You have the option to either shoot the bad guys or arrest them if you can get close enough. The levels are called EPISODES and it plays like a weekly TV show... It reminds me of THE SHIELD ( TV show from a few years back )

This is a great Battlefield experience. It's very, very fast paced and a nice spin on the franchise. The single player was enjoyable too. The only negative is that this could've been an expansion to BF4. While fun, there's not enough to really make this a full and seperate game from BF4. This easily could've been a $30 BF4 expansion.

With the lack of most heavy vehicles such as tanks and jets, this installment in the series may be a turn off for some. But, if you are a fan of the series, this is definitely a must pick up. There are enough new additions to the game that give it a fresh feel while maintaining the battlefield esk game play.

Unlike previous battlefield games the single player is actually worth playing and has some interesting mechanics not normally seen in a first person shooter.
But like all battlefield games the real reason to buy this one is the multiplayer. The game comes with several very different multiplayer modes. Old standbys like conquest return of course but it also comes with new modes like hotwire and heist which successfully play up the cops and robbers theme of the game.
All in all there is a lot of fun to be had with this game.

viceral has taken battlefield to another level with hardline and has suceeded where battlefield 4 failed
they story mode is great but a bit short would be nice if they added to it, multiplayer is has alot of great modes the only flaw to its multiplayer is the spawning after death with can fusstrate anyone when you spawn in front of the opposition and dying a few times before finally spawning on your teams side aside from that flaw it is very fun and a sigh or relief knowing the viceroy has made a great battlefield game.

Battlefield with Cops and Robbers

With the plague of problems in Battlefield 4 resolved, the Frostbite 3 engine is prepared to rock and roll with cops and robbers.
While not graphically impressive, Hardline does provide quite a bit of multiplayer enjoyment. Fans of the Battlefield series will enjoy the staple Conquest and TDM modes. There are some unique cops and robber modes to fit the motif.
However, Visceral invented one of the funnest multiplayer modes to grace us this far. Hotwire is essentially Conquest mode with players/squads controlling sets of different vehicles on the maps. The longer you control the vehicles (5 of them), the more points you score. The more vehicles you have, the faster the opposing team loses their tickets.
The result is some crazy vehicle battles with squads in cars going head to head with guns and rockets and charges. This mode presents some interesting scenarios and can be a down right blast to play.
While the Frostbite engine isn't the prettiest, this game does offer some fun multiplayer experiences.

Actually surprised at how much I enjoyed the single player campaign as I don't typically play these types of games for the story. Multiplayer is what you would expect from any other battlefield games. If you enjoy battlefield, get it. If not, this won't change your mind.

Graphics are not a huge upgrade from Battlefield 4, but there are some improvements. Much more fast paced online multiplayer, makes the game really exciting to play. Also, it had an interesting story, much more different experience playing as a cop vs military officer.

I was a little skeptical when I first heard that Battlefield Hardline was going to venture away from the classic military story and go to the trusted cops and robbers theme. Let me tell you, It worked to perfection! The story for the campaign is one of the best I've seen and played from an action game in a long time. If you are a call of duty, battlefield or really any first person shooter fan, definitely consider adding this to your collection.

First, this game will take some time to load up front, a lot of time. I am really digging this version of Battlefield. However, this may not be for the hardcore Battlefield players, just because they may not like the "cops and robbers" aspect. The campaign took me about 9 hours to complete, give or take 30 minutes or so. I really liked the way it was broken into episodes as well as each new episode giving a recap of the previous one. I was able to complete several stages of the game without firing a shot, if you enjoy the stealth aspect than this game may be right for you. I have only played a few hours of multiplayer and was thouroughly impressed. I have not experieced any lag, maps are huge, and game play has been fantastic. I bought this game primarily for the multiplayer aspect so I am looking forwards to spending some time with this game.

It is Battlefield with cops and robbers instead of soldiers. Quite fun to play online, but not much to unlock stuff as compared to Battlefield 4. Single player is decent for one play through as there are few moments to see. Overall, I liked it.

Just what I expected out of a Battlefield game. Amazing graphics, excellent game play experience, and a Good story line to boot. It's a nice change of pace to see a game about being a police officer rather than a crook or soldier as well.

Solo campaign plays like a movie or TV show has a good story and can get intense. Online multiplayer has large maps and multiple games. Takes some getting used to as a COD fan and definitely different but worth the purchase.

This game is refreshing due to the game modes, environments, and the simple fact that it’s fun for anyone’s play-style.
Playing every kit in multiplayer is great, and driving/flying is excellent. The multiplayer maps are smaller, so the action is much more intense than BF4 (campers are quickly pushed).
Really minor issues: An increasing effort for teamwork is needed, so the games can get lopsided fast. A lot of people try to do things solo and wind up with no cash in their pockets (to buy gear). More kit weapons would be nice as well, and what player doesn’t demand more maps.
This refreshing shooter is in my rotation of CODAW and BF4. Whatever shooter comes out next it will be less like BF Hardline than everything else. That’s why this game will hold value for me.

The game flows pretty well for the multiplayer part. Can't wait til more DLC maps are available. The single player episodes are realistic and entertaining, but you may want to put it on the toughest level for a real challenge. I really haven't had a true complaints. If I had to search for one, maybe some of the weapons are too powerful. Shotguns and pistols have far too much range.

I've spent most of my time in single player (SP) and in order to earn a few of the trophies for the first few episodes you have to pretty much play all stealth to earn points. Simply shooting the enemies doesn't give you any points unless it's with the tazer. This causes SP to play very slow which is kind of a downer for a Battlefield series.
Multiplayer (MP) is pretty fun. A few of the new modes, notably Hotwire and Blood Money, are actually a lot of fun. The new unlock system is the best yet for the series. No longer must you grind through certain unlocks just to get to the next unlock. Now with money earned as you play you can buy the specific weapons and gadgets that you want for your character.

Yes I did say bf3. I think dice decided to not give up all its glory when pairing with EA. The game is great and has a decent campaign. Online play is fun especially with the 64 player maps. It also dies not seem to have the side effects that bf4 had with corner shots and shooting through rocks. I'd say 4.5 instead of 5 but out of 5 it's definitely not a 4.

Coming from a Bad Company background, and having played BF3 and 4 nonstop, it took a Lil while for this game to grow on me. Now I play it all the time. It feels QUITE different from any other shooter you have played, including the BF series. If you are looking for the traditional BF game, you may be disappointed. Not because the game is bad, but rather because this game is its own breed,....team based tatics, balanced weapons like any other BF, but smaller maps, cop n robbers game modes, jets and tanks are gone but I can honestly say, as much as I like jets and armor, I don't miss this in this game. I like it and with it constantly hitting a $40 price point purchasing it is a no brainer.
