Excellent visuals & runs great on my PC with everything set to Ultra, motion blur off and v-sync on (i5-3570 w/ NVidia GTX 750 Ti factory overclock). Single player is story driven, combines elements of stealth, action and exploration. Vehicle physics are decent and maybe more enjoyable if you have a game pad, but a mouse and keyboard works great. The multiplayer is total mayhem and a blast... literally and figuratively.

It tries very hard not to be battlefield but in the end it is. It has plenty of new game modes which are a ton of fun. One of my favorites is a new conquest mode where your team has to hijack special marked cars and hold onto them longer than the other team. The campaign is solid and is in an episodic format like Miami Vice.

After playing Battlefield 4, this is pretty much more of the same great gameplay. I did initially have an issue where it crashed my graphics driver but a clean install of that and we were set. The sound track is pretty good... all I need to say is WOOP WOOP!

The multiplayer in this game is good fun, but it is hard to get into different gametypes with the small player base. The campaign is actually good, and I enjoy it. But, if you are buying this game for the multiplayer, just get Battlefield 4.

This game was a fun game, but was a completely different game than any of the others in the series. If I could compare it to anything, it would be Grand Theft Auto, but in reverse. You are a cop versus a criminal. The game also reminded me of Far Cry and that series where you are kind of in survival mode through the whole story. The single player is short like most of the others, but still worth playing a few times on the various settings of difficulty. I start easy and go to hardcore. Storyline was generic and I think they are running out of ideas for this FPS series. Still, I am a fan and will most likely get the next one. I am glad they took extra time and didn't release early, then patch. Nothing is more annoying than buying an expensive game or games and having to wait on patches to be able to play successfully!

The closest I can equate this game to would be Battlefield Vietnam. It has some of the smallest maps of any Battlefield game ever released, and the mix of air, land and water vehicles reminds me very much of Battlefield Vietnam for some reason. That being said, it is nowhere near as good as Vietnam was, possibly because Vietnam still had the novelty of being the type of large scale game it was with very few others on the market like it. Vietnam also had an element of fun that this game lacks, especially with the music tracks that played in the vehicles. This game does have music in the vehicles, but it seems to be mostly no-name or lesser known bands in genres that appeal to a very narrow audience. The weapons are what you would expect out of the latest Battlefield games, which is ok, I guess. You start out with bare-bones options which can be upgraded in various ways, though unfortunately the upgrade system is far less straight-forward than the predecessors were. It's fun, to an extent, if you just want to go blow off some steam or something, but honestly, it's one of the worst Battlefield games to date. Pros: Decent graphics Interesting concept (cops and robbers) New game modes Cons: The environment is less interactive than the previous Battlefield games (destructive terrain, usable vehicles) Unlocks are more difficult to obtain (you must 'buy' many of them now with currency you earn by playing the game) Upgrade system is less straightforward than predecessors Small maps (and I mean very small, especially for a Battlefield franchise game) Honestly, I'm left feeling like I wasted my money, which is unfortunate, because I've owned and loved almost all previous Battlefield games.

Well the last call of duty sucked a lot in my view so I was looking for a good replacement. This is it. I have a quad 3570 and nvidia 970 and it plays great on ultra settings. Game itself is fun as well, great guns and atmosphere. Good purchase.

Just got back into PC gaming and this game is fun. Lots of multiplayer modes. Good graphics. You'll need to install Origin then from there register your game key with your Origin account. This game takes a whopping 35GB so I'm glad I bought the disc version versus Downloadable version. Some graphic glitches in multiplayer still exist when I use my GTX 970 graphics card.

Overall the game is great, really fun and really engaging. One thing that I think needs to be fixed is how Origin launches the game. I find it weird that it requires you to open a web browser to launch the game, why can't Origin do this? It made things difficult for my Dad to launch the game. Either way, the game's a lot of fun and I'd definitely recommend it.

Hardline is one of the best Battlefield games in recent memory, It's fast paced, light-hearted, weapons are pretty balanced for the *most part* (looking at you, ACWR). My biggest wishes for this game in the form of changes would be slowing the matches down by a small amount as games feel like they are only 5-10 minutes long and then you're loading another map. The next would be some more maps like "The Block" which is fun because the map isn't a full circle and you can feel like you're actually pushing up the alley behind a riot shield bearing fellow officer. 4/5 for the things I wish they had, but this game does not disappoint at all in any way shape or form. A must buy.

I'm a huge gamer.....this isn't even in the same ballpark as Battlefield 2142, but it has many of the qualities that make that a great game. It has great graphics and draws quality players online. The graphics are awesome. The maps are too similar to all the other Battlefield editions.

Yes, this game could have been a DLC, but it doesn't mean it was bad. The game modes are a nice change of pace. The lack of Battlefield vehicles is the worst part though. No tanks, boats, jets.

This fresh take on the battlefield series shakes things up. The new game modes really focus on movement around the battlefield. The game also has a heavier infantry focus than previous battlefield games. All in all this is a pretty good game.

The game is pretty much the same as most other BF games but 1 of the things i liked the most right off the bat is that you can play what ever role/class you want and buy your upgrades for any of the classes with the cash you earn in game. =D

This is a great game, more like an expansion to battlefield 4, but it does carry its own identity. Does not play like a battlefield game, it is way different. A lot of fun to play a cops and robbers version of battlefield.

I love the battlefield games and so when I saw this one on sale, I had to pick it up. Not only was it cheap in price but the game play is great. I've been wanting to buy this for a while now and finally I have a copy. I think I paid like 12 dollars for this so if its still out there for that price, pick it up before it is gone. If you're a fan of battlefield then you'll like this. I think maybe even those who haven't tried battle field and want something different especially the story then give this a shot. Highly recommended.
