When i heard they were going to make a Battleship film i laughed. But the movie was great..Good plot special effects and alien ships and design..And they managed to pull off the aspect of the game. Awesome movie great in 4K

battleship is one of those movies you can just watch on a rainy day or if you have 2 hrs to kill it has good action through out the whole movie and the only thing i wish it had was more battle with the ships in it other than that it is a good action popcorn movie and it has alot of humor in it so check it out if you want to watch a good action popcorn movie

I was a bit hesitant to watch this film since the majority of films I've seen based off of games have been sub-par at best. This one was an unexpected surprise. Interesting plot, great visual effects, and enough humor to make it enjoyable for friends/family to watch together.

Considering the crap being released lately this movie isn't bad.

A movie based on the location of my home state! It was thrilling and it became more thrilling when I owned this Blu-ray. I have seen this at a theater and was grateful that I finally got a chance to own this movie! Special effects were top-notch and I love the scenes where the bad machines wrecked havoc in Honolulu.

This movie is great! The US NAVY vs. Aliens battle for the planet earth. Aliens wants earth's resources, but the earthlings aren't having it. With the aliens dominating through most of the movie, it takes the USS MISSOURI battleship to destroy the aliens and save the earth.

Had the original blu-ray disc. But of course, just like my DVD collection and my VHS collection, I now have to gather all the new format movies because I love the new resolution on my LG TV. The movie is a typical action movie with a character redeeming himself through battle and heroism. Good movie!

While much maligned by critics, I actually enjoyed this movie. OK, I'll admit I'm a navy nut. And yes, the plot has more holes in it than the Swiss cheese I had for lunch from Kroger. But, it's a lot of fun. The video is beautiful The sound is enveloping. Will there ever be as sequel? Doubtful. So enjoy this one.

This is one of the best movies ever. Loved it on the big screen at the theater. Had to have it for my 4k collection. If you have a great 4k TV and great sound system. You are going to want this movie. Hope you love it as much as I do

I was waiting for Best Buy to sell this copy on Blu-Ray with a digital copy included and I immediately purchased it! This movie is underrated and deserves more recognition! As well as worth the price! Hope there is a sequel!

If you are like me and enjoy the special effects (don't think about it too closely--if you are military or former military, there are things in movie that are not what we see in the military (fuel and munitions aboard Mighty Mo, an 03 fighting an 06) but the special effects are fun. And in 4K even better

I have watched Battleship in HD and then bought it in 4k and the difference is noticeable. It is not jaw dropping amazing, but it is sharper and the colors are more vibrant. The only drawbacks are when the movie is darker - you really can't notice the 4k difference.

One of the greatest terrible movies of all time. This movie is ridiculously stupid and makes no sense, but it's just a joy and blast to watch. It's in the same genre as the Fast and the Furious movies...a guilty pleasure. You have to suspend reality and belief and just watch it for what it is.

The movie "Battleship" really has no connections to the board game of the same name, so the name is there just for branding purposes. The movie is a different telling of alien forces visiting Earth & the Earth responding to being attacked by counterattacking. The Battleship only really appears for about a quarter of the movie.

Battle ship is a good movie, especially when they use history to Bring it to life. Just knowing the tragedy that happened there, makes me.remember all those brave soldiers that lost their lives in an ambush that nobody expected. It just brings back memories.

Battleship has a great cast and Evil Aliens ready to conquer Earth!! I got the Blueray, then got a 4K TV, and wanted to see the awesomeness of the ocean, alien aircraft and our NAVY all in 4K clarity. THE ACTION KEEPS YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT ALL THE WAY THROUGH. PLUS: LIAM NEESON!!

I wasn't going to buy this movie because of the reviews, but got it as price was right. It wasn't that bad at all, kind of entertaining. The alien invasion plot was too weak, acting wasn't all that good but it wasn't terrible either. Good if you want to have a good movie night with your kids.

The casting director has done a good job choosing the right cast. Niam Liesson, Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch. I love the alien ships and they look real and fascinating. It was a good job that was done well. I also love the story line.

I'm not sure why this bombed at the box office because it was a treat to watch. Great visual effects and an interesting story. If it had advertised less on the game it was based on and more on story it would probably have done better. Great watch.

I must say I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie but I must say it turned out to be a really good movie with a good action/sci fi element. It took a when for the "Battleship" element from the board game to come to light but that's neither here nor there. Good movie overall!
