This is the full release of the 1978 movie Battlestar Galactica. This is 100% not false advertising and is 100% what it is supposed to be in all of it's glory. Again this is 100% what you want. Those of you looking to buy this will understand this is the full theatrical release of the 1978 movie. My SteelBook arrived in perfect condition. The art I like but it is simple. The inside art is actually the exact art from the poster book that came out in 1978 and I simply love the touch. The Dolby Atoms sound is great. My dogs were doing the whole looking around the room which always makes be laugh. The picture quality was great on my Sony OLED. I have this on lazerdisc as well and my TV and sound system actually did a good job with the picture and sound but this is next level. The scene where they are under the casino and the Cylon's are chasing them and Apollo and Starbuck as missing at a distance of 20' with their laser pistols is priceless. Unlike today where the good guys always hit their mark these guys make me feel normal. Thank you Best Buy I for one really appreciate this release.

I enjoyed the series and grew up with it. This is the pilot movie. I have the complete series on Blu-ray, but happy to have this film on 4K. The color pallet improvement makes it look better than it ever has before.To the reviewer complaining about “ false advertisement “ is completely wrong. No where in the advertisement does it say “ Complete Series “. The series was NEVER announced for 4K, and certainly wouldn’t be for only $30. Obviously, they didn’t do their research.

I was eight years old when BATTLESTAR GALACTICA premiered on ABC. I will always be a fan. This is a fantastic print. I highlt recommend it to anyone building their 4K collection.

The theatrical version of the pilot movie looks great,i wish they would remaster the effects like Star Trek did many years ago,but i still enjoy this... Excellent picture and sound quality

Lack of a digital code was a minor gripe, but the lower price point did make up for it, especially as it's a steelbook.

If your a space SiFi shows or movies this is a pretty good one for you. The art work and design on the steelbook is alright, it could use a little more wow factor in the design.

The upgrade from the DVD looks really good. Audio is improved and they didn't change it like other movies have done. Picture quality is top notch which makes this a welcome addition to my home library.

I’m at a loss to describe Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and it’s titular character. Maybe he’s an idea or ideal. Maybe he’s a catalyst hero that doesn’t change but changes those around him by his actions. Maybe he’s just a guy who gets away with it. The only thing to capture him is the film itself and even then he breaks the fourth wall and is still there after the credits disappear; “Bow bow chicka chickah” a hymn to his effortless charisma. Is there any teen in cinema as cool? Anyone? Anyone? (Watched in 4k) and Mia Sar- I mean the film looks gorgeous.

I was really surprised at the amount of detail. The models look awesome while still retaining the film quality that keeps them from looking like toys. This is really amazing looking, way better than I would have imagined possible with it being shot by Universals TV production company so long ago.

Yes, this is just the tv movie for the series. The transfer looks amazing and the show was ahead of its time. The FX still hold up which is quite amazing as well. The steelbook is nice but mine doesn’t want to close properly. If you enjoyed this then you must check out the entire series, you won’t be disappointed.

Overall does the original pilot episode justice as far as picture quality is concerned.. good pickup for 10 bucks if you can get it.. unfortunately doesn't come with a digital code

Great looking case. Was originally a little misleading as I thought it was the entire series but it's actually only the original movie that started the series.

Loved this show when I was a kid. I'm so glad it finally became available!! And Steelbook is even better!!!

I have loved the series since I saw reruns of it as a child. Thanks to the everyone involved in releasing the show in a 4k format. And thank you best buy for selling it.

I have always liked the original. I have this on old video cassette, so when this came in 4K Blu-ray I just had to have it. They did a good job cleaning up the picture.

Great restoration, looks stunning in 4k. The Steelbook is also great, highly recommended.

This is the movie. Nowhere says its the entire series. Its also not a pilot episodd. Literally the movie. That other review is just wrong in general
