This is one of the best TV series of the 2000's. I don't really think I can add much as far as the quality of the show itself. I will say that I think the show peaked at the end of season 2.0, but it certainly wasn't bad after that point. It just wasn't as good. As for the release itself, it's just the individual season sets and The Plan Blu-ray in a nice, thick chipboard box. The box looks nice. As for the discs? They have extensive bonus features such as commentaries and bonus features. Overall, it's a very nice release for a fantastic show. It's well worth your time and money.

As far as I can tell it includes everything except the Blood & Chrome movie, including The Plan, Razor and extended cuts of a few episodes. Packaging is simple, but it works well and I like that it isn’t anything weird. Just all four seasons and The Plan lined up in a box! If you haven’t watched the show you should! I got this set for $49 and it was a steal!

I watched a Battlestar Galactica episode about a month ago and instantly became a fan. I ordered this series and picked it up the next day. The image quality is outstanding. They add interviews with the various people behind the scenes, and they include some episodes as aired and then also have the unedited version. They had to cut quite a few of the episodes down to fit it in the timeline of TV. If you are a BG fan or a Sci-Fi fan, I highly recommend this series.

I purchased this set as a Daily Deal from BB, and I am so glad I got it! The discs are neatly packaged as season sets inside the roughly cubical designer box. I've only sampled season 1 so far, but the picture quality is amazing while preserving the intended grittiness of this terrific remake. If you want Avatar's lush eye-popping visuals and stunning picture quality, buy that movie - this is Battlestar Galactica.

Not only an amazing story and show, but also a great price point. Great picture quality for blu ray considering how old this series is. The discs do cause my PS4 to crash and think they're invalid discs (even though it says on dashboard its a battlestar galactica disc.......hmmmmm). However, no problem playing or reading them in my discontinued LG blu ray player. Overall, this box set has exactly what i wanted.

I bought this collection during BF and I feel I ripped Best Buy off. The amount of bonus footage, behind the scenes documentaries and commentary features it's just Unbelievable! for the price I paid for... Any fan of the show would die for this collection! Plus it comes with "The Plan" and "Razor". Can't asked for more. It's a must-have even at full-price.

When the remake Battlestar Galactica series was originally broadcast, I often times fell asleep because I found the pace was too slow. However, I gained a better appreciation overall when it was rebroadcast daily on syndicated stations. Ultimately, this show is as much about religion as it is about sc-fi.

What can you say about Battlestar Galactica, you are either a fan or you're not. Don't care for Starbuck. But Grace Park, I love Boomer, she is hot no matter what she wears, uniform and all. Watching Nikita on one of those free streaming whatever you call them. This one is with Maggie Q - I'm in love! If you read any of my other reviews you know that I love Asian women. LOL

Originally watched this show on Netflix and instantly was obsessed! My spouse and I have seen the show at least three times through. We waited until Black Friday and got a great deal on the complete series. This show is a must see for Scifi fans, you won't be disappointed. The story line is fantastic and after each episode you're left wondering who is a cylon and if the fleet will ever find earth. "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again".

Often Remakes fall a bit flat, especially when remaking a Movie/Series one grew up watching. However, this Series is the exception, with some amazing Acting performances infused with a refreshed story-line that gave a huge nod to the original, but laid out a new and unique story arch. The emotional transitions from Joy, anger, fear, sadness all conveyed in a deep emotional ride that you the viewer will feel as well.

What an amazing reboot and retelling of the Battlestar Galactica story. Granted, the story gets a bit stretched and, juvenile, in the later seasons. But, the first few seasons are dark, brooding, and raw. If you want to jump into some sci-fi that makes you feel uncomfortable then give this series a try.

... Is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of BSG, and this is the Definitive version of one of the best TV series ever broadcast on cable television. The story and character development take center stage - the science fiction is merely secondary to the engrossing plot that develops as the series continues. Fair warning: you will probably binge-watch this, so don't say you weren't warned if you read this! :)

No one who has seen Battlestar would say anything less than it is one of the best sci-fi shows ever...but getting the entire show....including the Razor and The Plan movies...together in one set with the upgraded bluray is awesome....plus the price at Best Buy is roughly twenty bucks cheaper than other vendors....can't go wrong.

I'm far from a sci-fi guy, but what the rebooted Battlestar Galactica does well is frame the space warfare through the lens of political maneuvering. The story is, basically, what if the major Earth colonies were invaded and overtaken by sentient AI that was, at one point, kept by humans as servants. The writing is strong, everything is tense, and the line between human and robot (cylon) grows weaker as the show progresses. The box set is very attractive and well put-together. I bought it while on sale for $50, which is a great price point for this.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday he had seen parts of series several years ago and always wanted to see the entire series. I had never seen it. I bought the blue ray edition it was fantastic and the bonus disks where great. Definitely recommend this series.

Best science fiction series ever! We had a house fire and lost everything in the room where I keep many of my movies. Battlestar Galactica was among the first I had to replace... and it was on sale too. Thank you Best Buy!

This revised version of Battlestar Galactica is scifi at its finest. Tremendous cast and remarkable production value makes this series one of the best of all time. Exciting, cerebral, and fantastic story line. I watch it over and over. Love this show!!

I didn't watch this when it originally came out. Not until 2012 did I start watching but comcast took it off on demand before I could finish. Can't wait to finish. I left off at season 3 but I have started back from the start. Wish it came with a digital code.

A great scifi show. Good storyline and scifi battles. Great picture and sound quality. Complete series. Has RAZOR and the Plan Good box set. Sturdy and has episode list, special features etc on each season box. Overall, a must have.

One of the best remakes that I've ever seen done. The special effects were amazing. Battlestar Galactica is definitely one series that I can watch over and over again over the years and never get tired of it! Definitely worth the purchase!
