Why its good: Fun and exciting gameplay Awesome graphics Great boss fights Imaginative level design Replayablility Why its bad: Lame character design for the main characters Terrible storyline and cinematics somewhat repetitive music Overall the game is very enjoyable and definitely worth playing. The gameplay and Graphics more than make up for the faults of bad story and cinematics. The game can get difficult at times, but its manageable thanks to various items you can use. Spent about 18 hours beating the game the first time. After you beat it you can save the game and start again from the beginning on the difficulty of choice keeping previously acquired items, which is great for the weapons and costumes and such you can collect. I recommend it if you like action games

This game is very fun and challenging. Gameplay graphics are very nicely done, but cutscenes vary. Very responsive fighting mechanics. There is definately a lot of replay value. The game is different from other games in its style and storyline. Once you get past the first few cutscenes the storyline comes together very well and I felt the ending was epic!

I only buy games that i feel i would like , i I thought this came was fun, good storyline, and the moves combos, weapons , combos, and magic finishing moves were more than i expected, One of my favorite game, I like games like "Wet", Force unleashed, gears of war, i liked this game just as mcuh, I sugges playin gon normal diffuclutly. To say this game is not good , is a lie

When i bought this game i really didnt know what to expect, i sort of just took a leap of faith. Man was that the best idea i had! the games graphics are great. If you have an HD tv you will see it take full advantage of that. the game is hella fun to play (not to mention Bayonetta's hot!) trust me this game will have you asking for more!!

Bayonetta is a Which and I don't mean that in a derogatory way.She is engaged in a bloody war with Heaven's Angels.The game goes way beyond story details,the heart of the game is the smooth gameplay elements.Combat combos in this game are one of the best,you can activate"Which Time" by pulling up certain dodges,by doing so time slows down for enemies and you can string together brutal attacks.The game also features"Torture Combos" which let's you put your enemies heads into a Guillotine as a sort of finishing move.This game has a lot of replay value offering you more ways to unlock combo attacks and maximize your score.In a way the game reminds me of Devil May Cry because if it's fast pace shooting,and action,and because of it's creator Hideki Kamiya.Different set pieces made me forget about games like God Of War,and Ninja Gaiden because these bosses are massive than the last.The voice acting in the game is really not all that smart plus the cut scenes you'll laugh at,than laugh with.The game also have unforgiving moments where you have little to no clue about what to do,which can lead to a frustrating death.But the action makes up for the games failings.Pick this game up.

I never write reviews but I had to share my thoughts on this amazing game. Hideki Kamiya and his team deserve major respect for their work. Bayonetta is right now at this moment in time the epitome of the hack n' slash genre. I say that because GoW III isn't out yet so IMO she is the cream of the crop. It's not a DMC clone it has nothing to do with that saga at all so for all those people who say it is they're false yes the gameplay is similar but what do you expect? It is made by Hideki Kamiya and if you don't know who he is look him up. The rave reviews Bayonetta have been receiving are well deserved. I thought making references to classic SEGA and CAPCOM games was a nice touch. The Angel Attack mini-game is fun as well. Bayonetta leads off 2010 to a great start which will be one of the greatest years in gaming history.

Bayonetta has awesome presentation, style, music, controls and it a load of fun. Since it is created by the man who invented Devil May Cry, Okami , Viewtiful Joe and other awesome games, this game had alot to live up to, and it succeeds. Loads of content to unlock, extra characters, costumes, weapons, music and galleries, theres so much to do and its a blast the entire way. Strongly Recommended for action lovers.

Bayonetta is the most fun I've had playing a game since God of War. The action is non-stop and over the top. The story is fun and tongue in cheek. The characters are interesting. The depth to the combat is fantastic!

I was talked into buying this game, by an employee working at the store, I purchased it from. I never heard of it and haven't heard any reviews about it. The graphics are awesome, but the gameplay and cinematics are terrible. If I was told the game was made by the same person, as Devil may cry, I wouldn't have purchased it. My opinion, save your money and rent it. If you have a abundance of cash in your pocket, or have the lack of common sense, then this is the game for you.

This game is Devil May Cry on dank!! I gushed with man joy when I first saw the package art only to be snitch slaped by bad gameplay. Save your lunch money kids.
