This is a great little robot. Doesn't like carpet, mostly hard surfaces. Learns fast.

This thing is a pretty fun and unique toy. It wasn't for me but the owner enjoys it.

This item is operates exactly how I expected it to. Provides great entertainment and is a joy to play with. Only wish that the sound would come out of the unit instead of my iPhone or iPad, other that, it is a fantastic addition to my Stars Wars collection.

I don't really know what I was expecting but I guess faster and bigger. It was a fun little toy but I knew I wouldn't mess with it much. So it is a little pricy for something I'm not going to use much.

Much smaller than anticipated, but so very cool. Charges on its stand, rolls around making noises, can be programmed, makes yes and no noises and head movements. This is the best Star Wars toy yet. Must have for kids and adults who have robotic toys.

My kids are having a lot of fun playing with their new BB-8. Lots of neat features.

We bought this for our 16 year old son on his birthday. We have all fallen in love with it. It seems to have a personality of its own. We use it almost everyday. Only drawback is recharge tome. Other than that, it is easy to use and control with the app.

The "replay" value of this toy is limited, so the high price you pay would be mostly wasted on a younger child. However, older kids and teens who are interested in engineering and electronics will love it. It's a great demonstration of some great technology.

This thing is awesome. My kids love chasing the dogs around with it. Lots of fun!

An amazing collection to any Star Wars fan! Adorable droid and fun to play with!

This is a very charming toy. It does lose a bit of its luster over time, but most anything does. I do recommend it, however, only if you are a Star Wars fan. If not, I still say that this is a safe bet. Odds are higher than 50/50 that you'd be satisfied.

Got this as a birthday gift to myself. I love robotics and this one was a must have for my collection. I've enjoyed all aspects of the BB-8 droid and haven't had a problem with it yet. It's nice and heavy, and seems to be built to last. A little pricey but it's what you'd expect with all the hype and build up to the new movie. Great packaging too. Purchased this item for my Star Wars loving husband. BB-8 lives in his home office and was having fun until one day the head was missing. Turns out the cat was having fun too. We found the head in another part of the office and no damage was done. Put back together and good as new. Recommend this item for fans of all ages, just keep an eye on your cats.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. He really enjoys. It is well built and once you over come the speed and learning curve it really fun. Just turn down the speed to make it a little easier. Only thing is I would like the app on Kindle also. That is the type of tablet he has. So he has to use mine.
