This toy is extremely fun for a few hours but gets boring after that. It is a well made product; however, the item is hard to control. Takes some training!

This is a really cute toy that you can make move from room to room, and he actually starts exploring on his own. Very entertaining.

Really - what can I say? This thing is fantastic! It's an incredible little piece of technology, it's controllable from your phone using a licensed Star Wars app, and it's the new robot companion from Star Wars... I'm not sure what more anybody could want. ;-)

This is a fun little toy. It is very responsive to control, and people love watching it go. Be careful that you not roll it around a big crowd where folks are not paying attention, as it can easily get under foot and cause somebody to step on it and fall.

Had a blast, with my tiny, watching it bump into things. It's even voice activated with a few phrases! I'd say it's more for mini humans than the full grown ones since the Droid doesn't have the little gadgets like it does in the movie. Really awesome.

This works great and my 12 year old daughter was able get it up and running in short order. She got it for christmas and hasn't used it much since so I'm not sure it has great lasting appeal.

I was SO excited to purchase my BB-8. However, I feel that the actions & integrations are very limited. It is awesome to have a robot, but there isn't a way to have them interact with other BB-8s. They also do not work very well on carpeted areas.

Awesome toy for any SW fan. Smaller than expected, battery lasts a long time. However, after a couple of days, the luster wore off. I returned it.

The droid worked as advertised. I just got bored with it quickly.

My husband had just told me about the BB-8 and we had just gone to see new Star Wars! He told me price too! Then Best Buy had them and on sale!! Oh Happy Days!!! Programming was easy and hours of fun! Thank you Best Buy! You really are the best!

When I saw this product on Facebook (from IGN), I knew I had to get it. I waited a while until the movie was out and Sphero put in all the bells and whistles. I'm glad I waited. BB-8 is a lot of fun to play with. You can control the speed that he moves and he recognizes several different phrases that are built-in. You can even get him to watch The Force Awakens with you and he'll react. Just as a caution, you have to be careful with him because one of his antennas broke off when he bumped into a door hard. This is definitely a good toy to get

BB-8 is a lot more fun for me than my kids but definitly worth it. I have enjoys this little guy and the controls are easy and the device is loads of fun. Only bad thing is holographic feature is phone based and sounds all generated from phone.

Fun little robot to send after the cat, but rather limited play value. should have included the programable version of the sphero at this price point Looks to be true to the movie though.

My grandson was very happy to receive his first Robot. I thought that maybe because my grandson was 5 years old he might have difficulty playing with this advanced tech toy, but he figured out things fast on his iPad and played all day long.

A fun and innovative toy for any Star Wars fan - works well on hardwood floors, struggles a little on thicker carpets.

Bought for xmas and have used it several occasions. Firmware updated already. Rolls around autonomously in the patrol mode. Does have a flaw in that no onboard speaker and does not have a projection via bb8 as indicated on the product info.

If you like remote-controlled toys, this is a fun addition to your collection. The app has a lot of fun features, such as a simulated message projection and "sentry mode." Once you get the hang of the remote, it's got pretty good control.

Not overly impressed. I fly remote control airplanes so this was a bit awkward for me. Not your typical control. Bumped into everything and had a difficult time controlling the direction.
