i actually bought this for my wife for valentines day as she is a huge star wars fan. She has had tons of fun with this little guy an is an attention grabber to all that visit. He will lose connection at time but it is random at best

We bought this on sale as a Christmas present for our 6 year old. We have nothing but good things to say about it! She loves it and even my husband and I get a kick out of using it. We had the app downloaded to a phone, and we didn't think it was worth spending about $80 to get the "watch" to control it. It doesn't work on the carpet, so we use it in the kitchen, but that's no big deal. We even used the feature that it comes with to have it watch The Force Awakens with you, and it's so cute. It was a great buy!

I have been wanting this ever since it came out but was too cheap to pay for it. I finally saw this on Black Friday and couldn't pass it up. I do not know if i would pay full price for it, but if you can find it on sale, it is a ton of fun. Chasing my dog and playing with my 5 year old make it well worth it. I liked it so much i went ahead and bought the R2D2 as well.

This BB8 is great! Very easy to control and figure out. It is alot smaller than expected but great overall

I'm more impressed each time i activate my bb8, to say play with would diminish this amazing little guy.

My kids love it. I had to buy them there own just for I could a chance to play with mines. There's not a single thing that I can say negative about it. Ingenious little robot, and for what it's capable of worth every penny.

After seeing The Force Awakens, I knew I had to have this. This little guy really has its own personality. I havent had any problems with him at all. I'm curious to see if we will get firmware updates with new features.

This is a great little toy that my daughter loves. I think the only thing that could make it better was if it had a little speaker on the unit and maybe a camera to see where you are going. I would buy again in a second!

Love this little guy. But def do not recommend it for kids or pets. You must have a smart phone to operate it. Looking forward to seeing what new features they will release via software updates as the new movie draws near!

Amazing design, and operates well. The kids loved it a first but that lasted a just a week, so probably not worth the cost.

The features are easy to maneuver once you get the hang of it. I love the little emotions that are included like when he says yes and no. The voice recognition feature is fun especially when you tell him "it's a trap!"

It really is your own personal droid. Ridiculously cute, amazing tech, app takes a lot of space on your phone, but hey, who needs those BS games when you have BB8 following you everywhere. Pay the money, it's worth it.

Best Buy was the only store that had the BB8 in stock. Our son was thrilled to open this gift on Christmas morning and continues to enjoy the capabilities of this "toy" as they both learn to interact with each other.

My son and I compared this guy to the hasbro version and although it's smaller it seems to be higher quality. It's amazing how responsive he is and how much fun we have scaring our dog. BB8 is the coolest droid yet!

I would have kept this great toy if the unit itself made noise as opposed to the app. Cool, but not with the price over a normal sphero with more apps and accessories

Bought this as a gift for my 14 year old. So glad we did! He is so much fun to play with, and so easy to control! What a fantastic purchase! After playing with it for a bit, even my parents went out and bought one!

The Sphero BB8 is a fun way to spend some time. The controls are excellent and it actually interacts with the TV if you have one of the Star Wars movies on. I highly recommend this product!!!

I got this as a late Christmas gift. It does take some time to figure out the controls however my 8 year old managed to figure it out faster then I did. Long story short it's worth the money and lots of fun!!

Yes this is a toy and yes it is cool. But, for $150 this is still an expensive toy. $99 range would make this perfect.
