Thought this would be "the" toy of Christmas, but was soon set aside. I'm hoping that it will be taken up later.

This is a must for all Star Wars fan!!! I love that I can control everything from my phone. Very easy to set up.

I liked the concept of Sphero I get in very small price. But it was smaller than I expected. It has hard time in moving over carpet and it is giving good things like voice response and all via phone application Take it only if some kid is really excited for such toy

Great for kids and your own self! It pairs very easy and it was at a super great price! The toy is pretty durable and you can get a smart watch accessory to pair with the toy and make the toy move WITH YOUR MOVEMENTS! It quite amazing! A perfect gift under the tree :)

My wife and I purchased this for my mother as a gift to her. After my mother saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens, she loved BB-8 and so when my wife and I saw this we had to get it for her! My mother played with it the day we bought and gave it to her. She did not have any problems learning to control it.

My 13 year old grandson had wanted this since Star Wars came out. It works great, what a neat device, so cool

This little droid is so cute! Love him! Bought him for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves him!

Got this for a gift and he absolutely loved it! Everyone ended up playing with BB8 and was a hit of the party

Ok toy but doesn't do much. For the money, you would expect a little more.

I like using it for decoration and showing others it's tricks. My favorite is when it nods "yes". Too cute!!

This toy is fun for the kids and adults, but interest will rapidly fade as toy does not come with a camera and interactions are in reality pretty random. Price is too high for the limited interactions that it is capable of performing and the fact that it won't operate at all unless paired with a phone.

It's really cool day 1 and I showed everyone and their mother, but after the awe-factor is gone I realized it doesn't really do anything and the app takes up memory on my phone. It quickly became a $150 paperweight that I'd bring out for little cousins for 5 minutes and then everyone would lose interest or the phone/bb8 would die. Not saying it isn't cool but it can't bring me anything and can't do anything. It has a hard time on carpet and tile with grout grooves. It's a little unstable if he moves too fast suddenly he goes all wobbly and his head falls forward/backward. Basically it's super cool for little kids who have tablets/phones and will use their imagination to actually play with him or you get a great deal but other than that I don't recommend buying it. Even if you use it, it's not worth the $150.

If you are a Star Wars fan then it's a good addition to the collection. Will bring nostalgia in a few years.

This robot is quite entertaining to control. Using your smartphone to control it definitely adds to the fun.

I was excited when Best Buy made this available for preorder. They're cool characters to just let run around.

it's a really fun little toy. there's a bit of a learning curve to control but it's fun to just wheel around.

I can't work it very well, but my 6 year old is a pro with it and chases the cats around the house with it

Love BB-8,the sound,the movements and the lights of this droid are fabulous. They should make a bigger one.
