I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He is 23 but this toy is fun for any age. The only bummer is that it gets stuck on thicker carpet sometimes, but other than that it's awesome.

This is such a fun "toy". Very easy to set up and start using right out of box. Wouldn't reccomend for younger kids more of a teen to adult item. other than that its worth the price point.

It was a cool gift to a 14yo, he loved it does some pretty neat stuff, works with smart phone/tablet app, it was smaller then we thought it would be, but size not a knock on it at all

Fun little toy that connects to cell phone with great ease and is up and running in only moments. Bought this as a Christmas present for my 10 year old girl. It was her favorite gift.

The most fun I've had with a remote controlled vehicle since I was a child. High quality and a lot of options with this little guy. I recommend this to any Star Wars fan out there.

Really like the design, colored really vivid and looks exactly like BB8 in the movie. Only thing is the remote control part is a little bit different than what's shown in promotion videos, for example, it is not that smart in terms of keeping running into objects on the floor, also the BB8 sound is actually coming from my phone.

BB-8 works great and is so cute. He's almost like a new pet. I was suprised that he lights up but his noises come from the app not actually him so that was the only disappointment.

This toy is a cool collectible and a lot of fun to mess around with. Whether you let him roam around the house or control him yourself. Only drawback is his head comes off to easy.

I bought the BB-8 Droid for my granddaughter who is a Star Wars fan. It works perfectly on tile, wood or concrete floors and it's very fast. I have to say it was a good choice.

Sphero always offers great stuff and this BB-8 is no exception. I was sad to hear that Sphero is cancelling all licensed products but excited when I was able to get such a stellar deal. App works great and controls are really well done. Sort of wish I could purchase a separate remote control just so I don't always have to be on the phone but for $30 I can't really complain.

BB-8 is a cool toy. Very well made. Has an easy learning curve for learning how to drive with your smart phone. This was given to me as a gift. I would have bought it otherwise..

My son loves bb8. This one is not super easy to handle for a 7 year old. He knocked off his head and broke his antennas off on the first day. It is really fun.

My 10 year old has found this toy very entertaining and it was very easy to set up with the app. BB8 is super cool and looks truly like it came right off the set of Star Wars.

Gave BB8 as a gift. She is enjoying it. Head becomes detached occasionally. Enjoys ability to send photo to robot and it will project a hologram-like image of the photo. Cool.

Although this one also broke one antennae in the first 5 minutes, its a great toy for a Star Wars fan. They have already done one firmware upgrade which adds new movement.

It doesn't like carpeting but if you have the surface to run this it's a blast to play with. Controls work pretty well for using a phone and it sure freaks the dogs out.

This little BB-8 is amazing!!!!! He's fun and easy to use. Once the movie came out they even add real BB-8 sound effects! He will steal your heart just as he has mine!!!

Thought this might be another one of those overpriced Star Wars toys, but gave it to my nephew and he can't stop playing with it. And the movie hasn't even come out yet!!!

BB-8 surprised me, it was much more than I expected. Lots of clever features, lots of fun

My son loves to play with BB-8. I would like to have the sounds come directly from Bb-8 instead of the tablet, but this is a minor detail. My son thinks it's awesome.
