"Exeter" is one of the best horror films of 2015. Why it never received a wide theatrical release is beyond me. This movie rocks from shocking beginning to mind blowing end. It's helmed by Marcus Nispel (the successful reboot of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th) and crafted a film that does for exorcisms what Scream did for slasher films. That's right, it's a perfect meld of horror and humor. He's also assembled a very likable cast that we care about. Originally I purchased the DVD when this first came out, and the transfer was a disappointment. But this new double disc (Blu-ray + DVD) is definitely a vast improvement. The picture quality pops like never before, and the sound rattles your room with the right speakers. This movie is a MUST BUY for all serious lovers of horror films.

I actually bought this movie because of the name "Exeter" because there is a town close to here with that name and I have a friend that lives there. Turns out movie had nothing to do with the town, but it was very entertaining. Not as scary as I thought it would be, but still very good.

This one starts quickly and doesn't let up, the action (and gore) coming at you relentlessly. It takes a handful of overused plot devices and renders an engrossing and entertaining little horror flick. I didn't have a single "saw that coming" moment, and there are even a couple of twists that I didn't anticipate. Great cast, location, script, effects...it's all good! It's not until viewing the "making of" feature that you realize what a low budget effort this was. Fun from start to finish, this one is low budget horror done right!

Sae this movie on sale, read some reviews, and picked it up. Had some scary and creepy moments with a pretty good ending/twist. Worth a watch.

If your a horror movie fan like me then this is definitely one to have in the collection.

Movie was ok. I feel asleep doing the the first time watching .so I had to watch again. It could of been better

Not perfect, but fast paced and gory with humor that actually works.

I have not watched this yet, but my niece has it and loved it, she usually like this type of series, but she encourged me to get is. If she promoted it , I most definatly will.

I had high hopes for this one as it was directed by Marcus Nispel (who also directed the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake) and I love possession/exorcism films. Turns out it was terrible. Terrible acting, terrible characters...just a mess.
