I bought this razor for the flexible guard. The level adjustments are manual and feel a little cheap, but it gets me the type of razor guard I wanted for a low price.

That’s is not what I was expecting.. I want my money back!!

PROS: 1) I bought this trimmer because the batteries are immediately accessible, so I can use any type of AA batteries, disposable or rechargeable. 2) The blades cut like a hot knife through butter compared to my previous clippers, and need no lubrication. I can trim my beard with fewer passes, and the results look more even. CONS: 1) Adjusting the length setting takes a little practice to find the center of each indentation, but once selected, the length is set securely. 2) Did not come with batteries as advertised, but that was fine with me. OTHER NOTES: 1) The spring-loaded plastic part of the comb serves no purpose I can imagine, but it does no harm either, so whatever. 2) Their length settings 1 to 4 are 1.5 to 7 mm, so this trimmer works for short styles.
