was looking for a beard trimmer to use with out the plastic guides which I feel causes an uneven cut. tried this out on the longest setting ( just the blade mind you ) and it cut far too short. I returned it. If I was going for a short scruff type look, this would have been great, but for actual beard, not for what I wanted.

Great trimmer, got it at great price, deal of the day. Can't complain it's upped my beard game.

Not sure if it's me or the clippers, but I keep trimming to much of my beard off using the clipper attachment and having to shave it all off. Makes my girlfriend upset, but I get to be clean shaving.

I had a glorious beard going on but needed a trim. Bought these. The guard wasnt secure at all and "buzz" it shifted and took out a inch strip on the left side. Had to shave it all off

I like this because it is fast in the morning and no messing with cream and water.

This is a pretty good trimmer for stubble, but not quite as good as the Conair iStubble that I had before. It's supposed to trim stubble to .4 mm (same as the Conair) but on lowest setting it doesn't trim as close as the Conair did. I removed the cutting comb and it gets a little closer now but without the comb it's a little irritating to my skin and it's still not as close as the Conair. On the plus side, it feels solid and the battery is much better than the Conair. I don't have a beard and don't use the laser guide so can't comment on that, but I'm sure it would work well as a beard trimmer. Just wish the Conair wasn't discontinued.

The dual head makes the difference, allows you to trim, shape your beard as much as you like. Ive had a beard for several years on and off, have gone with several brands, but for me the Philips is always the most well designed trimmer and they tend to survive travel and dropping.

small, good battery without cord. shaves good in different sizes. clean with water is useful.

Took sometime to get use to the laser but now it's easy to use
