This is the way the Beatles were suppose to be herd. The only two albums the Beatles recorded in Stereo were Abby Road and Let It Be. So, remastered from the original tapes, and in the format that the band mixed the album. How could it be bad?

Obviously, the Beatles' White Album is a classic, even more so on vinyl in the original mono format. The vinyl album package replicates the original materials distributed with the album.

Some say mono is the best way to hear the Beatles music. The quality of this release is extraordinary.

This one the horns section, back vocals, orchestra sounds amazing and more notice then the stereo mix.

If you plan on purchasing this album I recommend buying the "stereo" version. This only plays in mono & therefore only comes out of the right speakers on my system. That being said, the album & packaging are great quality. Although this is not my favorite Beatles album, it still is a great record.

Be prepared for some differences. This is how they were supposed to be heard and they sound phenomenal. From the original tapes unlike the stereo release in 2009. You can tell the difference. Highly recommended.
