Beats - NOT a Data Cable!

This is NOT a "Data Cable", it's for charging and sound only. I have a 2018 VW with Apple Play and a new iPhone 17 that requires USB-C. I thought this was a good choice, being an Apple product (kinda), but this will not support data and WILL NOT WORK with a plug-in Apple CarPlay.

Stop working after not even 6 months. I don’t bend my cable, I have it very neatly wrapped and my CarPlay doesn’t connect 80% of the time. Now one might think that bc it’s wrapped up, it also might not work but I have tried to do everything to connect it to my car and it does not connect.

Beats cord works like it's supposed to. Sometimes I lose connection with Android Auto but, other than that, it does what it's supposed to do.
