    The cable isn't braided and has the traditional Beats look and feel. My one negative will be that when you plug it into whatever jack you use for AUX, it doesn't have a substantial "click"/ plug-in sound and feels like it won't stay put or that it may slip out. Now although it doesn't do that, it still feels like it would. I've been using it for my car and it works awesome.
