Wingtip ripped during normal use
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gave this to my wife as a gift. She loves them and just uses it casually, just for watching videos, music, or calls. But less than a year later (October 2022) with normal use, the left wingtip ripped off. Per Apple this is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. I looked in forums and found other people have the same issue and Apple won't admit that the quality of the wingtips are bad. One star for that.

Strong Alternative to AirPods Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried out the AirPods Pro when they were first released in 2019 and, while I was impressed by their noise cancellation and sound quality, they didn't fit well in my ears and I've just never been a fan of the "stem" design of AirPods. My go-to earbuds for most of this year have been the Beats Studio Buds since they offer the most AirPods-like experience with instant pairing, "Find My" support, and Spatial Audio support. That is, of course, until the Beats Fit Pro earbuds were introduced. If you've been waiting for a more sportier or more secure-fitting version of AirPods Pro, the Beats Fit Pro could be the answer. PROS: - On iOS devices, the Beats Fit Pro behave much like AirPods. They are recognized by my iPhone as soon as I open the case with a pop-up for instant pairing. You can see the battery percentages of the buds and the case in your notification center and also control the noise cancellation mode through Control Center. The Beats Fit Pro appear in the "Find My" app in case you lose them. You also get Spatial Audio, allowing you to experience the new Dolby Atmos tracks on Apple Music. - The Beats Fit Pro support automatic device switching between Apple devices, something that the Beats Studio Buds do not support. Similarly, the Beats Fit Pro will automatically pause your content when you take them out of your ears -- another feature not supported on the cheaper Studio Buds. - It's clear that Apple and Beats focused on fit and comfort with the Beats Fit Pro. In my ears, these are VERY secure with virtually zero chance of falling out thanks to the excellent earfins. It takes a few tries to learn how to snap in the earfins quickly (it requires just a bit of a turn once you get the buds in your ears), but once you get the hang of it, there's nothing to it. The earfins help maintain a tight in-ear seal since they minimize how much the buds can move in your ear, which is crucial for noise cancellation. Most importantly, the Beats Fit Pro are very comfortable for hours on end. I've worn them in the gym, in the office, and at home for many hours now and I have no complaints. The buds protrude just a bit from my ears, but I still prefer them over the design of AirPods. - The Beats Fit Pro come with three sizes of ear tips. I landed on the large ear tips with the help of the built-in ear tip fit test. On iOS, go to Bluetooth settings, tap the "i" next to Beat Fits Pro, and then access the ear tip fit test. - I like the fact that both buds have physical buttons to control play/pause, skip forward/backward, and noise cancellation/transparency. Both buttons perform the same functions, so there is no need to remember which button to push to perform a certain function. One click plays/pauses your music; two clicks skips one track forward; three clicks to go back one track; and a long press to disable or enable noise cancellation. Even better is that these are actual, physical buttons that you press - not touch controls that might not work with sweaty hands. - Sound quality is great. The buds deliver crisp and detailed sound with very punch bass. Vocals are clear and the soundstage is quite natural and expansive. It's clear that Beats/Apple went out of their way to give the bass an extra "punch," but that could be thanks in part to the strong seal from the ear tips. Regardless, for every day use, sound quality is excellent and the vast majority of users will be very satisfied. - Noise cancellation is also very good. I also own a pair of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - the Beats Fit Pro unfortunately are not as good as those when it comes to noise cancellation - but I am confident that these would do just fine on an airplane and in busy places like coffee shops. Compared to the Beat Studio Buds, the noise cancellation on the Fit Pro is MUCH better, and that's likely due in part to the better ear tip seal. - The case charges over USB-C, which will be welcome news to iOS and Android users alike trying to minimize the amount of cables they carry around. CONS: - Android users don't get a full-fledged Apple-like experience. Unlike the cheaper Studio Buds, the Beats Fit Pro do not support the new Google Fast Pair standard, so they won't instantly pair with your Android phone. There is a dedicated Beats Android app used to adjust noise cancellation settings, but there is no Spatial Audio support or automatic switching between paired devices. - The case feels a bit flimsy to me -- certainly not as sturdy or premium feeling as a regular AirPods case. The hinge on my case feels a bit loose, so maybe I just got a bad unit. Regardless, the case is fine and is relatively compact. - The case does not support wireless charging. At this price point, I consider this a huge omission. Almost every other major competitor in this premium price range supports this feature, so I was a bit shocked to see that Beats did not include wireless charging in the Fit Pro case. - Microphone performance is good, not great. In noisy environments, people on the other end of my calls reported a lot of background noise. OVERALL: The Beats Fit Pro are an excellent pair of every day earbuds that, in my opinion, are much more practical than AirPods Pro. They offer the best features of AirPods Pro with a much more secure and comfortable design that is perfectly suited for active lifestyles. There are very few trade-offs compared to AirPods Pro: noise cancellation is very good, sound quality is great, and the fit is excellent. The most glaring omission is wireless charging, something that absolutely should have been included. Regardless, the Beats Fit Pro are my new go-to earbuds and the ones that I am going to take with me everywhere going forward. Highly recommended!

I’d buy again in a heartbeat. Here’s why…..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these beats pros so much. I have a job that I talk on the phone, and these are comfortable in my ears for hours and hours. I also love how well the noise canceling is! Even with the price at $200 it’s worth it. I lost my first pair in the airport on business travel and had to go out and rebuy them. That’s how much I depend on and love them!

Get a more reliable earbud set
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product works well, but I kept noticing that one kept getting really loose consistently. I only use these to work out, and never keep them in longer than 2-3 hours. Yesterday, I went to work out (had not used them in 2 weeks since I got over-the-ear headphones) and one of the wingtips is hanging by a thread. This sucks, because I haven’t had these earbuds for more than 7 months. You can’t replace the wingtips, so please be careful if you buy these. I hate leaving bad reviews, because I don’t want to be “that customer”, but this was a total waste of money! Before I wrote this review, I went to a Reddit forum and found so many others with the exact same problem.

WARNING DO NOT BUY!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device usage started out great. However after several usage the left bud gave out where it’s not connecting at all. See image where the bud charges 100% but still doesn’t work. Also obtaining the serial number is tedious. I researched on the 1 year warranty supposedly on the device but to no avail as it seems like apple does not support extra coverage either. A waste of $200 dollars in my opinion.

Amazing sound, comfy, but not very durable.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Beats Fit Pro for over a year and and had been pretty happy with them. They are comfortable, have a solid fit and sound amazing. The fact that the case doesn't have wireless charging like the AirPod Pros is really not a major omission, The battery life is quite good. The problem I do have with these is durability. Around August, one of the ear buds had a small tear in the wing tip. It turns out, I was not the only one who had this problem. According to users on the Apple Support Forums, it would cost about $90 per bug to repair. That'd be $180 should both tear, which is about the same price as a new pair. Get the Apple Care on these. With that said, I can only give these a 3-star rating even though everything about these ear buds are fantastic.

Not as tough as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good ear buds until they started falling apart. Rubber started getting soft and actually fell apart. Took to the store not even near my year and was told sorry. Cheaper to buy a new pair. Apple wouldn’t cover or Best Buy would stand by the ear buds either.

Hard to hear and hurts ear
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Built for large ears. The ear inserts are difficult to use, none of the sizes work. The part that snaps into your ear hurts. The noise cancellation doesn’t work with outdoor sounds, vacuums, or microwaves. There’s no volume control, have to keep my device near for that. I have to keep them charged multiple times a day.

Sold b/c of ecosystem
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with these, mostly because of the apple ecosystem. The sound is okay. It doesn't beat the sound quality of my old Bose Sound Sport. One major drawback is that the case is very slippery. I've dropped this case many times when taken them out of my pocket.

All about the bass...whether you like it or not.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't think it's a hidden secret that Beats brand is heavily biased toward bass and low end, these buds aren't the ones to change that trend. Now to some that's not a problem but for me results are mixed. Hip-Hop and Rap tracks sound brilliant. 'Simon Says' by Pharoahe Monch hits hard in these buds. But at the same time having the bass pulled out front and center on tracks like Lynyrd Skynrd's Simple Man doesn't sound quite right or as balanced as the track should be. Results I found to be consistent across all genres of music. Movies, YouTube, and other video media actually sound great. There's a nice natural blend when playing back video taken on my phone. So much so that I thought it was ambient noise and not the buds. Fit-wise, these get high marks. They sit as secure as they can without being uncomfortable, perfect middle ground. No jostling with quick or sudden movements and comfy enough to take a nap it (provided you aren't a side sleeper). I like the simple tactile button press ergonomics. It's firm enough to not press accidentally but is right on the spot when needed. They are pretty quick to charge to. I don't think I ever had to wait any more than 2 hours on empty to completely reach 100% charge. Although I was using a fast charging USB type-C power brick. A few last notes. If you are planning to pair these beats with an android phone, then the Beats App is required. At least during the initial pairing. And also if somehow you lose Bluetooth connection the only way to reconnect it, is to place the buds back in the case and open and close the case. At least I couldn't find any way to pair them directly without the case. So make sure you keep the case with you. So I think if you primarily listen to bass heavy music these buds are a good choice. If you prefer a more balanced pair, then a little homework and research will do you good.

I thought I had 30 days to return
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality is not anything like the beats headphone. The sound is very low and it echos. The battery life is very good but it doesn’t matter if I can’t hear. I’m going back to my AirPods.

Still love them and use them everyday
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The case might feel flimsy but they actually fit in my ear -- which I expect from my earphones. The only downside is that I actually had a quality issue with my pair. Luckily, I have an AppleCare+ so I was able to get them replaced.

The absolute worst! Save your$$$ don't get em
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly disappointed in more ways than one. How can I wear something, if they don't fit, don't stay in place, don't cancel noise, don't have quality sound, and aren't comfortable? These are the worst! I gave it 6 months for then to get better but they didn't. Noise cancelling gets 0 ⭐ Sound quality 1 ⭐ Comfortable fit 0⭐ Stay in place 0 ⭐ These are the worst! I bought about 5 beats for Christmas gave the cheaper ones away (what a mistake). There's no comfortable fit at all the ear bud is too big....I bought different ear bud plugs and it's still awful fit. They never have stayed in place so a workout with these are a effing joke. Sound quality is meh. I've had better for sure!

Great! Works just like AirPods Pro but different
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m impressed! They fit great and seem very similar on size ratio and sound compared to the AirPods Pro which I also have. Most of everything feels the same; noise cancellation and transparency, which in the AirPods is by touching the stems but on the Beats Fit, a slight clicking on either side pressing the b logo. When you unbox the product, there’s simple instructions on pairing and using the iPhone , shows quick tips on how to use; similar when pairing AirPods for the first time. They feel fine. A minor drawback is just getting used to fitting them in your ear that if you adjust or push them one of your ears, and click the button it will pause. Just click again to play. Regarding differences; It has no wireless charging and uses usb -c only, and it comes with a short usb-c cable. If you have a usb c power block (for example the chargers for the 11 pro max is usb c with a usb -c to lighting cable). Then you’re fine; otherwise you’ll have to invest in that or use an available port on your laptop / desktop if they have usb -c ports, or get a modern power strip that has one. Since this product is new, there isn’t yet any accessories I can find like a protective case for the charging case at this time yet. So we’ll have to be on the lookout. I have owned previous beats products in the past, the Beats X and the Powerbeats 3 (which were corded between the left and right earbud, and they were defective due to sweating proof issues and got defective then (and I used to go to the gym a lot then but now covid has shut down my gym and so I just take walks and don’t do much sweat intense activity as much as I used to). I do believe beats/Apple has taken serious precaution taking their time with the design and durability of these, learning from any flaws with previous beats headphones. I hope these will work for a long time.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones suuuuuuck. They do not stay in. I used them at home because if im outs side they fall on the ground and ill probably loose them. I bought them for the great reviews, the color, and the brand's reputation. Ive tried em out in each of the rubbery things it comes with. They just fall out. Hate, hate, hate. I hate myself for wasting my Christmas gift cards on something that is so limiting. Cant send em back.

Great buds especially when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is good the bass is where these buds shine. I wish there was wireless charging especially at this price point but not a big deal. The wing tip is super comfortable as I can wear these for hours and not feel any type of discomfort. The thing I dislike is the case it feels super cheap.. feels like I can break it if dropped so I ordered a case off amazon. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with these earbuds and I they are just as good as AirPods Pro. I think the AirPods has a slight lead due to the MagSafe. Calling on Siri works great and the phone call qualit is good ( AirPods Pro definitely sounds better .) Battery life is phenomenal.
