I have bought to pair of the 2's and they still work very well. Depending on what you use them for, will depend on battery life. I highly recommend for running, they are truly exceptional. I give it 4 stars based on the microphone to phone capability, not the best, but serviceable.

So Far, So Good

They got sent back to Apple to be repaired twice while under warranty. They finally died after a couple years use. I bought a new pair of PB2 after PB3 came out and they went on sale and so far no problems. The sound quality is superior to all other headphones ive used for working out/running.
