Powerbeats are expensive, and the packaging is not overly impressive. You don't even get a simple power charger - just an adaptor to connect to a USB charger. Having said that, after trying out 6 or 7 different brands, price ranges and designs, these are the only bluetooth headsets you can use in the gym. They stay in place even if you move your head, do squats, push ups or stretch. They sound great and charging time is decent. They last 5-6 hours without a recharge. I think another vendor will be able to get something to market eventually at lower cost, but for now, they are the only game in town.

The single greatest issue when it comes to Bluetooth headsets is battery life. Powerbeats2 has the greatest battery life of any comparable product currently on the market. Unfortunately, battery life decreases slightly after every charge. This problem is compounded by the fact that neither Powerbeats nor Best Buy offer any kind of protection plan. Apparently, Powerbeats used to offer protection plans but due to various design flaws and numerous customer returns, they were no longer able to turn a profit. Ergo, no more protection plans. I always purchase protection plans for higher-end products (> $100) and, against my better judgment, I traded in my old $100 Plantronics BT ear buds and upgraded to the $200 Powerbeats2. I confidently predict that in no more than two years, my recently purchased Powerbeats headphones will eventually fall victim to any one of a dozen potential calamities or, at the very least, suffer an inexorable and unavoidable decline in battery life. No matter how well you manage a rechargeable battery, it is still doomed to significant rates of decay. This phenomenon occurs in all lithium ion batteries, which take on a charge by accumulating 1,000s upon 1,000s of microscopic crystals. It is in fact the irregular restructuring of these crystals which account for reduced battery efficiency. The haphazardly formed crystal structures invariably steer the lithium ions in an erratic manner, ultimately resulting in consistently lower energy transfer rates and a noticeable decline in available power. Yup, it's that simple! Lol. Nevertheless, the Powerbeats 2's sound quality and 6-hour + battery life outperforms virtually all competing models and although I have not yet experienced any difficulties, I still urge caution. If the company that manufactured the item won't offer the same level of customer protection as other companies, how much faith can they (much less the consumer) possibly have in the success of their product. I do love theae headphones and sincerely hope I am wrong!

I like these headphones, that are the same as my pair, I just got these for my wife's birthday. The battery life is good, and the sound quality is good also. My wired beats have more bass, but then I expected that when comparing the two. I had one issue wearing them outside where they seemed to be having interference issues but I don't yet know if that was a fluke or a real issue. Prior to that I've always used them indoors at my desk or laying around the house and haven had not issues, so I've rated them as such until I determine what the deal was with that one time wearing them outside.

Owning most of the Beats line, I figured I'd give this a try, notwithstanding the fact that I didn't care for the Tour when it came out years ago. Having said that, these are the best sounding plugs I've heard. The stock plug was ok, but when I switched it out for the large plugs, wow! The bass improved and the noise leakage diminished. The best part...wireless! My only criticism is the limited range. I pair it with my ipod nano (latest model). Even when the batteries on the plugs and the nano are at full charge, when I put the nano in my front jeans pocket, it occasionally blips out. Overall, however, this is a minor inconvenience considering the quality of the sound it produces. Keep 'em coming Beats!

I wear these mostly outside doing yard work. I lose bluetooth connection for a few seconds about once every other song. They do stay on my ears and have good battery life. Sound quality is good.

Like most, it is a little expensive for what you get but I am still happy with them. You pay for the name more than anything. I was looking for something that was blue tooth ready and good for running/working out, as my ipod recently stopped being able to keep my headphones plugged into the headphone jack. These are lightweight and stay in my ears, which is what i wanted. I would have given 5 stars but the sound quality isn't there for the price. Also, if you are like me and really like to pump up the volume you might be a little disappointed because the do not get very loud. I am hoping they can withstand lots of workouts and running. Overall though, they are a pretty good product.

I was looking for some great wireless headphones and these fit the bill. They are not cheap but i love the bluetooth feature, they are easy and they stay on your ear. They are very lightweight and the sound is wonderful.

So far, I've found these headphones to be outstanding. (I've been using them for about three weeks now). Fantastic sound quality, comfortable, and they stay on my ears while I'm working out. Wonderful product. Now, I have to admit that I've been a little nervous since I purchased them because I read (after I bought them) all of the negative reviews, where many people reported them breaking within a couple of weeks. And when I asked to purchase an extended warranty, Best Buy wouldn't sell me one for this product. So yeah, I've been nervous. However, so far they've been excellent - absolutely outstanding sound quality. I've been using them everyday for the past three weeks and they've been perfect. Just hope it continues. :)

I absolutely love these headphones. I use them to lift and run and they are amazing. I love the fit and finish of them and the color is great. Sure there might be better sounding or performing headphones but the form factor and availability of these in virtually every store makes them a great buy for me. I do cardio in them and haven't had issues with moisture damaging them at all. It is awesome being able to do squats or deadlifts and just leaving your phone to the side with your stuff out of the way. You could easily be about 25-30 feet away and they continue to work. Charge lasts me maybe about 2-3 gym sessions at 2 hours or so each which isn't all that big of a deal. Wish it came with a dedicated USB outlet for itself

I bought two as gifts for my young adult sons who are very athletic, working out daily. This includes jump roping, weight lifting, cardio, etc. They have worn out a lot of earbuds over the years. Here is their feedback...The sound quality of these is excellent. Having freedom from the cumbersome tangling wires while exercising is priceless. The wireless option provides additional protection from moisture damage from sweat and rain. The construction appears to be durable. The bluetooth connected very easily. Reaching the mic to turn it on and off for calls took adjustment time due to the position in which it lays on the back of the neck, but the location does not impede conversations. They highly recommend them!

I was a little hesitant that these earphones were mostly hype. Not the case. Work as advertised. Pros: Great sound quality. Lightweight and stay comfortably in ear while running. Cons: A little pricey.

I have several pairs of Bluetooth earbuds from jaybirds, and outdoor technology and these are by far the best. Took a chance on these as I haven't been a beats fan since a pair of solos I bought fell apart with careful usage. Anyway I workout, ski, and run with earbuds and the beats make a serious comfort difference with great sound to boot. The charge is long enough for an intense 2 hour workout and the weight and earloops keep the earache down. The jaybirds are nice but cause ear pain for extended periods. If you train or just do yard work in them, these are a great buy. The 150.00 price online bestbuy.com will be matched in store and is a no brainer

They are nice and loud maybe not as loud as wired in ears but they are the loudest Bluetooth in ear headphones I've owned. They are comfortable in ear i didn't think I would like the hooks I usually tend to buy the push in only headphones but the hooks help them stay in. I can't even tell I have them in. I use them for my 2 hour work out 5 days a week and so far so good no problem at all. The only down side is everyone one and there momma has them at the gym I can't turn around without seen someone wearing.a pair. The good thing is I have the black and grey one and for some reason no one chooses that color even though they look the best. Hahaha

Beats has become a household name and with the Powerbeats 2 wireless earphones you'll understand why. I'm a music lover so I am always looking for the best ways to enjoy my listening experience.. With the Beats by Dr Dre Powerbeats 2 Wireless earphones you get the perfect sound. Their adjustable wrap around the ear feature plus the included, different size ear buds allow for a custom fit that's more comfortable to me. The best part is that they're wireless so no more cables getting caught on things causing them to yank out of your ear. A bit costly but you can always find them on sale.

Good sound, fits comfortably, battery life is really good, definitely the best Bluetooth earphones I've ever purchased. The price is kinda high but so is everything else from Apple/beats

I am a senior who was used to the old fashioned ear phones. I was hesitant to try the Powerbeats 2. They are SO easy to use. Most ear buds fall out of my small ear canals but these fit fine! They clip around the entire ear so the sound is delivered flawlessly, without the earbuds falling out! The on/ off switch is easy to use while wearing the Powerbeats. Bluetooth connection is great! Charging is simple. I carry the case with me everywhere! I can listen to devices in bed, without bothering my spouse! So glad I discovered this product for myself ( via my child's Christmas wishlist)!

I enjoyed the headphones being bluetooth and actually clipping around the ear. I have just never been a fan of in-ear style headphones and this is still technically that. I said I would give it one more shot and I chose to return them because I just didnt like the feeling of any of the tips. I find the Apple earpod shapes more comfortable (Personal opinion). But the sound quality was great! If you enjoy in-ear and want bluetooth then go for these or the jaybirds X2! The one think I hated was that the volume control was on the left side. Im used to the right side.

I tried many wireless buds (JBL, jabra, planttronics, jay bird bluebuds) and as much I hate to admit it the Beats really were the ones that sounded the best, stayed in place the best, and still had a consistent sound even if they move around a little. I've been using them every time I go to the gym and every single time I'm reminded why these were the right choice. HINT: if the sound has too much or too little bass for you, try out different sized eartips. There are a total of 4 options included. I found that by going one size bigger than I needed, Ive been able to maintain consistent bass even if they move around on my ear just slightly.

THESE ARE AN AWSOME SET OF HEADPHONES. THEY ARE VERY LITE AND COMFORTABLE. THEY COME WITH SEVERAL SIZE EAR CUSHIONS, SO YOU ARE SURE TO HAVE A GOOD FIT. THE SOUND IS EXCEPTIONAL AS I EXPECTED FROM BEATS. I REALLY LOVE THE FACT THEY ARE WIRELESS, NO CORDS TO TANGLE OR UNKNOT. THE ADJUSTABLE STRAP WILL FIT ALL. EASY TO PAIR WITH YOUR DEVICE. I love these headphones. I previously had the LG-Tone but I didn't like the sound quality and I couldn't get them to say in my ears so I returned them. These stay in my ear especially in the gym and riding my bike. They're also sweat and water resistant which is key at the gym and working out. The bass is pretty good not to much. It's light weight so it doesn't feel to heavy on the ears. My only issue is the sound quality on the phone calls hasn't been the best. But overall I love these headphones, I normally think beats are overpriced but these are worth the money.
