So, we ended up returning the beats the same day we purchased them. I am very picky about what I want my music to sound like, especially for the price we paid. Don't get me wrong. These are good headphones but I like a little more base to mine. Two songs on my iPod had a good base sound to it while the others were mediocre. They are comfy for those who don't like to feel like your head is being squeezed to death. Clear sounding as well. I had heard that they discontinued a make of these because costumers had complained it had "too" much base. Sure wish I had gotten my hands on them beforehand. So, I just exchanged them for a mac book pro. :) Either way, give them a try. YOU may like them. If you don't, you have 14 days to return them just like I did.

When looking for X-Mas gifts for my sons, they wanted Beats head phones. We looked into the Solo HD ones, but didn't like the quality of the sound to include both Bass and Treble. The clarity wasn't even there. When deciding to buy skullcandy's, one of the sales reps recommended listening to the new Solo HD2s. We were very impressed so we bought two pairs for my two older sons. They love them and dad sometimes gets to steal them for an escape. Great sound, but I think SkullCandy is still a comparable substitute in the event you can't afford these. All the same I'd buy both sets again for my sons well because they asked Santa for them and they are a great redesign of the Solo headphone.. Do not buy the original Solo! You will be sadly disappointed.

I needed a new headphones & had heard that beats made the new solo 2, so I decided to go down to best buy & check it out. To my surprise it fit so comfortably than the original & the sound quality is in comparable!!!! It's worth the money if you love music!!!! I recommend it to all my friends!!!!!

I wanted to give Beats a try. These are pretty good headphones. The bass is nice for hip hop and edm music. The mids are good but the highs could be better. They are comfortable to wear and stylish.

The sound quality is great, as advertised, no questioning that aspect. But unfortunately, (since these are headphones that are meant to be worn on your ears for extended periods), they are VERY uncomfortable to wear, on your ears, for any more than 15 mins. They clamp down on your ears with tremendous pressure - which is good for them staying in place on your head, but horrible if you want your ears to remain on the outside of you body! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure teenagers will not even notice this drawback at all, ... but for anyone else who is expecting a luxury item for the luxury price you paid for these headphones - think again!

I purchased 2 of these for my grandkids for Xmas. They were very happy when they opened them. They were able to use them right away, attached to their phones with no problems. They have a great sound, are comfortable and also keep other noises out. One of them was an "open box" so I was able to save some money and you could not tell the difference between the open and the new. Great Deal!

Headphones have a good balanced sound, fit well on the ear and are easy to use. Volume controls are convenient and the carrying case corrals the cord with the case.

These headphones have great sound. They fold up nicely and come with a case for traveling. The color is beautiful and unique.

The packaging, headphones, and sound quality is splendid! This product is overall an easy item to carry around with the pouch and it has a very nice color to it as well. This item is at a fair price if you are looking to have some superior sounding headphones.

My honest opinion is no, for full brand new out of the box $200 price tag is way over rated. I've tried on skullcandy headphones and a lower cost and they sound equally as good. Other thing I had an issue with was the fitting, I wear glasses. Wearing these for only a 45 minute train ride and my hears were hurting like crazy. Sound leaks like crazy. But with all that you get a good sound out of them. The color is awesome, the build is good. But I recommend a hard case. The pouch from beats is way too soft. They don't do a good job protecting them from getting crushed at the bottom of ur bag.

Purchased this for my brother as a gift and he can't seem to take them off, for the price, it's a great buy! I own beats studios and the sound quality and bass quality is not too far off! Comfortable small over the head headphones, can't hear a thing outside your music zone once put on and the volume is turned up, I can see why he likes them. Plus the color is sort of a metallic green so it's a really nice touch compared to the usual black and red.

Great sound. Bass is great now. The music I listen to is hip-hop from the 90's. It sounds good with the type of music I listen to.The color is not loud, unlike other Beats. I'm a Veteran and it goes well with my style. Other great headphones out there, just wanted this one because Apple is going to probably re-tune this headset in the near future. Pick this up, if u listen to dubstep, rap, trap ,hip-hop, soul and a lil jazz. You wont be disappointed.

Pro Bass Boost Clear Sound Comfortable Loud Con's Unable to wear during workout's as it retains moisture

After spending 230 dollars on headphones, I was a bit surprised at how poorly the overall product is. The headphones provide a suitable amount of noise cancellation, an ambient amount of bass, and clear sounds. Although, the length of the cord can prove to be tiresome, the headphones can begin to create a lot of pressure on the ears if they are worn to long. Overall, I was extremely disatisfied with the product especially considering its price tag.
