Sound is good, not as good as I was hoping for, for the price, but overall good product

I wanted headphones with a good bass response but worried these would overemphasize the bass at the expense of weak treble and mids. However, to me these headphones actually seem well balanced with a rich sound that has sufficient bass but also mids and highs that are not at all recessed. I now am listening exclusively with the Beats and after several weeks have found no reason to switch back to my Sennheisers that may have slightly greater clarity but produce nowhere near as rich a sound. To put my comments in perspective, I should mention that I am not a young person who listens to music with a heavy bass component but rather a senior citizen who listens to classical music and jazz.

I like these headphones because they are perfect for a low profile. Its slim and stylish and sounds absolutely great. I would totally recommend them to anyone that wants an awesome music experience

usually the ppl that have hate comments on beats are the ones that dont have a pair and justify it by the price..boo to them. beats is the way to go for good sound and looking good. these are great.

These are good headphones overall. Sound is high quality. SUPER annoying that the volume controls on the cord is by the headphones--should be switched. Doesn't work plugged in the opposite way. I feel you are paying for Dr. Dre Beats more than the product. My daughter got Phillips noise canceling over the ear headphones for 1/4 the money ($45) and they are JUST AS GOOD. The other annoyance is that these don't fully cover my ears. I would prefer a larger ear covering. What I love: they fold and have a carrying case. The leather is VERY comfortable on the ears. Note: if you have a larger case on your device (like an otter box), you may need to remove the case to get the plug in the headphone port/jack.
