I purchased these for my son who is 13 and a local DJ. He had the Solo 1s but these were only $79 I believe because they are being replaced with Solo 3s. Great noise reduction, he says he can't hear a thing with them on. Great quality sound. Only very small thing I don't like is that the little bag it's housed in doesn't have a carry handle as does the earlier version headphones. Small but significant. Also didn't like that it didn't come with the option of adding an additional warranty in case something happens to them.

This is a great product for any age and extremely versatile.

I bought these headphones for my son a few weeks ago and to this day they have been inseparable. He enjoys the full range immersive sound and I appreciate how whisper quiet they are to me. His friends are impressed and he has actually thanked me several times. I definitely recommend these Beats headphones. The reason I only rate it a 4 out of 5 is that I bought these on a very, very good sale from Best Buy and I'm sure I would have reservations about paying the full price. Look for these on sale for the best experience.

Another excellent experience at Best Buy. I bought a pair of beats by dre headphones. Best Buy did a price match with no problems. I would recommend shopping at Best Buy anytime.
