Can't go wrong with Beats headphone new color on solo beats. Red is shiny catch a lot of looks. Sound is great headphones very durable I wear them to the gym run treadmill ride bike lift weights headphones stay in place. I recommend them.

Bought these headphones because I was looking for an upgrade (my Sony's broke) with noise cancelling and great sound. BEATS are pretty expensive but really high quality; absolutely love them. Great design, really comfortable. Would recommend.

Pros: Good headphones for good price and good sound quality. Cons: The quality of the product from an aesthetic view has dropped a bit. It does not look as good as the older ones when Monster was involved. At first glance they look cheaply built compared to the original Beats Solo HD.

I bought these for $80 on black friday. They usually retail for $160 or more. 80 is a heck of a deal for these good quality headphones. 160 or even 140 is way too much. You're much better off spending 200 and getting a pair from a professional headphones company like Sennheiser.

I recently purchased the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD headphones for $99 at Best Buy on a 50% off sale. Shopping experience was excellent, an amazing price for these headphones! I did a lot of research and found many pros & cons online but I believe this newer Non-Monster version is a winner. Bass is tight sounding and not over powering, Mids and Highs are clean and not at all muddy. I am a bass player and love to hear clean, tight accurate bass and I believe that these deliver the goods. I think the design is great and the build quality is top notch. The cable controls work perfectly. I listen for long periods without a problem. I think all the negatives from the past reviews have been corrected. Buy them you will not be disappointed!

I listen to a lot of EDM and was drawn to the beats by the reputation that this is a good set of headphones for bass, the bass is indeed good but not the best I've heard for the $169 asking price. The midrange and high frequencies lack in some areas, and are too emphasized in others. Its a OK product for $150, better at $99. You're paying for the fancy box and ads along with a good, not great headset but if style rules your world, they cannot be beat (pun defiantly intended).

Excellent sound, compact, and very stylish!!!!!!!!

The headphones sound real good, especially for the price, but I do worry over time how they will hold up to my teenager folding and unfolding them to bring them with where ever they go. The travel case is a big plus to help with protection though! I guess only time will tell, but t we're very happy with them so far!

love the color the sound love the pouch easy to carry around I highly recommend them for all ages. they fit great on me easy fold up to put away. they are sound proof a little volume goes away a long way

When I bought this item it was on sale and I had some gift cards left from Christmas. I thought since it wasn't my money I would give it a shot and I was surprised. They block out a lot of outside noise so you can really hear the music or movie. I wear them mostly at the gym and it is a relief to not have to listen to people grunt and scream when throwing up weights anymore. Even though they are a little pricy I would recommend trying them out if you love music. I am not an audiophile so I don't have an expert ear but I do love the headphones. They fold up to fit in your pocket or bag and they are the perfect fit on your head. If you are running they stay firm on your head and they are comfortable.

Bought these headphones as a gift for my 18 yr old daughter. She was so thrilled and says that its the best quality sound she has ever heard on her audio devices. On top of the great product , i saved a good amount because it was purchased online from Best Buy during black Friday sale. Great headphones!!
