Not supposed to be noise cancelling, but worked well for me to limit plane noise. Great clarity and bass. Wore for almost 3 hours and comfortable.

But you will have to fork out more money if you want noise cancelling and better sound quality. I do like that you can fold them and store them. Good for traveling.
