    Impressed

I have to admit I very seldom write reviews for products, although I always read them. I've read some negative comments with people saying these were overpriced. Well on Black Friday these were on sale, and I took a chance... And wow, these are the best headphones I have ever owned. The craftsmanship along with included accessories are a good value. I listen to a wide array of music and I am literally blown away, classical music has beautiful highs and mid range. Hip-hop rap is outstanding, with an amazing balance of bass and treble. To anyone on the fence about these headphones I would say buy them and try them out; the in store display does a terrible injustice to these headphones.

Noise cancelation does not work well

These head phones on a airplane are terrible, very little difference if any. I am very disappointed with the purchase and would not recommend them for any use because they do not cancel any outside noise that I can recognize.

The Studio Beats - they are definitely not worth the cost. The noise cancellation could use some work for sure! The quality of sound leaves something to be desired also. The fold design is a nice feature. Wish I would have gone with the Bose!

The headphone was defective. It didn't work the first time we tried it on. Only one side of the headphone worked. It was to replace Beats Pro which felt apart after one year. I guess we just don't have good luck with Beats.

    Better than the Orginal

These new Beats Studios are far better than the original. I am an owner of both the Monster Beats By Dre Studios and the New Beats Studios. The new engine sounds much better than the original, the original had muddy bass or overwhelming trouble. These fix those problems along with many others like the build quality and battery problems. They are much stronger than the originals. No need to put in those AAA's anymore with the build-in 20 hour battery. My one problem with these headphones is that they are much more glossy than the old ones and cause it to be even more fingerprint prone than the original.

Great headphones at a tremendous price

The headphones are VERY nice. Not too heavy but sturdy and solid. They sound great even though the iPhone has a weak headphone amp. They probably sound insane when connected to some serious studio gear. The noise cancelling isn't too aggressive but it does cut about 30% or so of the outside noise. The ear "cups" also help cut out the outside noise very well and together they work pretty good.

Avoid - Apple will not honor the warranty on these Beats sold by Best Buy...and you can't return them to BB after the return date. Poor service on an item from all fronts.

    Worth the money

These were my first pair of good headphones that I got so this review isn't comparing to other headphones, but let me start by telling you that these headphones are awesome. I am a fan of bass and the bass that you receive on full volume on beats music app makes this worth buying even more. The mids are clear and the highs are just fine. The bass does not sound muddy and bad which is good because it doesn't interfere with conversations or speeches. The sound quality for an average person is 5 out of 5. The battery life is awesome and I have not ever run out well at least not completely out of battery. The noise cancelling works great and eliminates sounds like ( tv's, heaters, fans, airplane engine). In conclusion if you're looking for a good pair of headphones which are well known, stylish and sound good buy the beats studios.

They worked great until the battery stopped holding a charge 1 week later. Couldn't be recharged either. Apple replaced the entire headphones for free though.

I was doing my homework for about 3 months searching for the proper headphones Im a Marine living in barracks and $300.00 is a good amount of money to spend on headphones. I wanted great sound quality, stylish and living in barracks i was specially looking for noise canceling. I found all of that in the beats studio great sound quality bass is awesome and acoustics as well perfect balance overall so if you listen to hip hop/rap the bass is there, rock/metal vocals and guitar is there and if your like me living with a lot of loud noises and just want a good ole quiet time listening to music without any ambient noise Beats Studio are the headphones for you. im not very tech saavy so i do apologize for the lingo. Overall AMAZING PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY!!!!

Have to charge the headphones to use them. $400 headphones that are not wireless should not need to be charged. Wish we had returned them. My son doesn't use them.

    My Favorite Headphones

I have owned the original wireless Beats and wanted an upgrade. The Studios provided that and more. Studios are traditionally bigger than the Solos ( which was the original style of the Wireless Beats ) so there's a lot more comfort there. Instead of sitting on your ear, the cup goes around your ear giving better sound and longer comforted listening time. The sound quality is beyond amazing, the battery life is way better not to mention that all new Beats products can be updated with the Beats Updater so every new advancement or upgrade they get you get too without having to buy new Beats products to stay current. The matte black are my babies they are sleek but the other color options are still very nice.

    originals sound better

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have owned the originals as well as these new version studios and I was a little disappointed with them. The originals were a lot louder and had way more bass. These new ones did sound a little bit clearer and are lighter and smaller. My whole reason why i got the studios were for the great bass. I do like the rechargeable batteries instead of changing out the batteries once a month. Overall though I feel somewhat dissapointed witht these because in a way if felt like a downgrade from the overall sound of the previous model. Overall they are ok but are not really worth the price for their sound quality.

    Best Headphones

So I just bought these headphones about a month ago, let me tell you that you will hear a lot of negatives about beats that they are overpriced and just for cosmetic looks, but trust me they are the best headphones I have ever listened too. Once, you put the headphones on its like your in your own world how clear the voice is and how the bass sounds like your literally at a studio

    Awesome headphones

I bought these today, and I have to say these are just outstanding headphones. They are comfortable, they sound and look fantastic, and they are solid. People who have complaints about the headband snapping are people who do not take care of them. I've been wearing these all day, and they are not hurting my ears at all. In fact, I almost forgot I had them on. These headphones are fantastic in sound. Everything is perfectly balanced. Battery life is great for how long it takes to charge ( around an hour ). They look very stylish and will blow your friends minds away. These are very worth its price. Try them I guarantee you that you won't regret them.
