I had the first beats and these are a better improvement. Very comfortable on your ears and much lighter than the first one, less emphasis on bass and more emphasis on the highs and mids. Rechargeable battery lasts about twenty hours.

This headphone definitely cancel out any noise around you. I love the sound quality it provides and the look is sleek

They are great quality but..... the cost is very high I would have given it 5 stars but the cost is $230 it is too costly

I tried many headphones for about a month, from Sony to Sennheisers etc... Although I liked the sound of the Monster DNA on ear headphones better, the style and fit of these Beats studio over ear were unmatched. Great mids and even the highs were excellent. I listen to a lot of Rock music and was really impressed with the overall experience quality and comfort. Noise canceling feature is nice. Easy on and off with just unplugging the cord and the carrying case is a nice bonus. Very pleased with my purchase.

I had the original Beats studio head phones and decided to upgrade to the new ones because the original ones hurt my ears. The New studios are softer on my ears and I can wear them for a lot longer. I've found that the noise canceling is also better then the original ones but it does make a hissing sound. It is not a big deal if listening to music or watching a movie. This product is highly recommended and I love the Matt finish color that I got.

I love my headphones. I can't speak much about durability, I got them recently. These Beats have a great sound, and they aren't too bass heavy like some other beats are. The only downside I can see is remembering to unplug the cable (because of the auto on/off feature). If you don't do this, your headphones will always be on and draining battery unless you manually turn them off. Overall I am very very satisfied with these headphones.

Have had the beats studio headphones for about 9 months now. Have had no issues to date. Love the sound. The noise cancelling feature is great. Truly does block everything around you out. Very stylish as well. Only issue i have is with charging them. Would be great if this was not needed. Other than that, i'd highly recommend.

Before purchasing, I did read many of the reviews, and upon ordering and receiving the headphones, I was surprised to see that they weren't wireless as many of the reviews for this product mention it's wireless and bluetooth capabilities. That being said, the sound is amazing and the noise cancelling is great. I'll be keeping them even without the wireless.

This headphones works great but definitely not worth the price. With $299, I can totally get something with more bass and works without having to charge it every 5 hrs or so. If you like your music loud, this is good; otherwise, I'd recommend buying their earphones instead. A nice gear to spice up your outfit but not really useful because they're so bulky.

These headphones are a must buy! The blue color looks really nice and the sound backs it up! I got them for my bday a few days ago and have already listened to them for around 6 hours. They are extremely comfortable and i dont want to take them off. Plus, the sound is very balanced. I love these!

I just got the Beats by Dre and these things are awesome, if you are looking for a pair of amazing quality and comfort headphones, these are the head phones you want to buy. Everything about them is awesome.

I personally prefer the sound of the Beats Solo HD headphones. These has too much bass. These are more comfortable but it's not worth $100 more for comfort unless you plan on wearing them for more than 4 hours straight daily.

I compared both the Bose QC-15 and the Dr. Dre Studio through several tests for a few hours to try to decide which pair I wanted to buy, (I also own an older $80 Sony). My local best buy did not have a demo pair of Dr. Dre so the salesman told me I could buy both of them and then bring back the pair that I didn't want, so that is what I did. Not a difficult choice after my test. Bose wins easily here is my ratings in a scale of 1-100 Sound Quality: Bose 92, Dr. Dre 95, Sony 80 Comfort after 1 hour: Bose 100, Dr. Dre 90, Sony 90 Noise Reduction: Bose 100, Dr. Dre 75, Sony 75 Overall: Bose 100, Dr. Dre 85, Sony 80 The Dre maybe has a slightly better sound because of bass, but it is marginal. Dre are comfortable but much heavier than Bose. Noise reduction is 4x better with Bose, huge difference! Easy decision now.

Bottom line first: Life of this is going to be somewhere between 18-24 months. The sound is artificially enhanced by Beats R&D(Enhanced good, but still weird since u lose the natural sound quality) and its little overpriced. There are better headphones in the market for a cheap price. Detailed Review: One thing I immediately noticed is that the materials which are used to make this headphones are dead cheap (So the actual cost comes around $28-$35 + Beats R&D cost). Since the materials are cheap, the cushion wore off often. Its < a year and the cusion cover wore off twice (and after that the cushion will wore off in another 3-6 months). So the life of this headphones is extremely limited. But good thing is that this comes with Apple customer support and hence apple service quality. During the time cushion wore off, I just have to type an email to apple support and they will send me a box which has shipment label and have it replaced within a day - as hassle free as expected. Now the main part - sound. Its pretty decent. And the best part is noise cancelling. But the problem is that the music is artificially enhanced (especially the bass part). But it kinda feels good in your ears. Only problem is that you cannot enjoy the natural music - the way that was intended to be listened but u enjoy the Beats way of it. But people have their preferences and I like the beats way of enjoying the music. I don't regret buying it though I regret not knowing these information to make a better buying decision.

I'm a dr. Dre fan but never his product , although ive tried most of the beats with my friends never did I want to buy a 300$ headphone,but my wife got me this as a gift , amazing ! The comfort on this is the best sound quality compare to the old beats is way better! There is a lot of beats hater ,without even trying one ,I suggest go to your local store and try them on, if you like them buy them if not move on.I would buy a extended warranty just incase , the last time i bought a 150$ headphone they broke.I would recommend this to snyone who can afford them and travels a lot or workout. No batteries , slick style , the best comfort headphones ever , they dont leak sound like the old beats, they are more durable than the old one

I purchased the Beats Solo HD not long ago and returned them because i did not believe that they sounded better than a cheaper $50 pair. Now that Dr. Dre came out with the new colors for the Beats i decided to try these out. They are a major step above the Solo HD's, and as far as i can tell there is nothing wrong with them. The sound is amazing, and the bass sounds good. The only con i have with the Studio's is that even when im listening to them on a lower setting, the people around me can still hear my music, these will leak and i do not believe that there is anything that can be done about it.
