I have owned the original Beats Studio since it first came out 5 years ago. Unlike some people I loved the way they sounded in all types of music that I listened too. So needless to say I was very excited when I heard that they had "upgraded" them. I bought them immediately and sold my others. I loved the look, the weight, and the rechargeable battery and even the awesome battery gauge. I loved the new ones, until I listened to them... I found the bass very much lacking from the old ones, and the treble to be too bright on a number of songs. I couldn't find any consistency in the sound. While some folks will appreciate the toning down of the bass level, it just wasn't for me. I was disappointed and wanted my old ones back. I've since returned the new ones and will probably end up buying the old ones again. A lot of folks may still like he new sound better, they didnt sound bad, just not as good as the old ones. To me anyway.

the best headphones out and better than the older studios. its great to be able to plug them up to charge them and still very comfy and a great sound.

i bought these for my girl of course because there pink and she loves them she wears them allay and she love them more then the old studios she both.

Just bought the over-the-ear Beats...so far, I'm very happy. They have a much more vibrant sound than my Bose. The noise cancelling is a nice feature.

I bought these headphones for my 19 year old son for Christmas. He did not even want to consider the Bose AE bluetooth headphones, so I got him what he wanted. These phones get really loud, and they have distorted bass reproduction at higher volumes. Mids and highs are barely represented with these toys. The ONLY reason that a person would want to buy these overpriced toys are to satisfy their teenager's desire to be "cool" and wear what the in-crowd is wearing. I have a 10 year old pair of on-ear Bose which reproduce sound much better than these brand new phones. But the Bose don't distort bass and drive it into your head like nails, so the kids don't want them. Do yourself a favor and go with Bose at high end, or even some JVC for a mid-range alternative. They reproduce music exponentially better than this trinket that Apple is selling. Oh, and if you do buy these, buy the extended warranty because you will use it. 14 days after my son started using them, they went completely out. Best Buy replaced them like it was habit, no questions asked. I think that we will probably be back at Best Buy at least 10 times for replacements over the next 24 months. In comparison, my 10 year old Bose are exactly the same pair that I bought that long ago, and sound even better as time goes on. Let this company die a slow death so that they will stop pushing this toy as a real man's headphone.

These 'phones are the best I have ever heard. I hear music with all the notes I've been missing, it all sounds fresh and new. I hooked it up to my Galaxy Note 3 and cranked up the volume on high for a few seconds. I could actually feel the drivers in the ear cups moving and pushing air. The bass, treble and midrange all come in loud and clear. Definitely worth the price!

These are outstanding headphones with excellent noise quality and the noise cancelling is great. Easy to travel with. Very pleased.

These are by far the best headphones I have ever had. I wear them in between classes. The only downside is that when you like to jam out to your music (loudly), everyone beside you can hear what you are listening to. Sometimes that isn't a bad thing, but when you ride in elevators, or are in places that are normally quiet you might want to turn it down a bit. Make sure that you turn the switch off on the headphones every time you are done using them or the batteries will be drained. As much as these headphones were, they should have created a way to not require batteries and make them wireless. I would love to run with them on if that was the case. Overall, my music sounds ten times better.

These have fantastic sound quality. The bass is outrageous. Noise cancelling depends on how loud you like the music, but doesn't compare to Bose. Noise tends to leak out and can annoy those around you that have different musical tastes.

Beats are great. Awesome quality and fit. It is expensive but get what you pay for. Had to have the special edition blue beats. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

I just recently bough these beats by dr. Dre and their just as good as my first pair are. I own these bests studio's and also the tour beats. These beats i bought at a whim because i really want to have headphones that can offer more sound cancelation then the ones that go into your ears. First off lets set the record with the people that are knocking beats for their quility. The people who say they break easy NO!!! They dont, they may be plastic outside but theirs metal in the band and unless your really hard on them their not going to break. Second the sound is what make beats well beats. The sound is so crispnand clean and if you have never tried them like dre says your not hearing everything. Great buy take it from a guy how buys alot of electronics.

Noise cancelation works well and the offering of colors is great. I really like how they look and comfort

While these are expensive, the quality is great. I use them pretty much everyday and do not regret the purchase at all.

These headphones are awesome. I love that they turn off when you disconnect the cord, and the sound quality is fantastic. Especially the bass. Play Radioactive by Imagine Dragons with them, and you'll see.

I researched for a long time as I always do before spending this type of money, I could've gone with a cheaper pair but I'm the type of guy that " I go big or go home", i wanted a Bluetooth headset, and a good pair of headphones all in one and I went with these beats by DR dre pair after days of trying to decide, let me tell you this is the best investment I've made in quite some time, I'm a driver so i use it a lot for hands free conversations, also for listening to radio off of my iphone when I'm in the truck, all wireless! I fell in love with them from day 1, I also watch movies with them off my ipad, the sound is amazing, and the noise canceling is pretty good since I can't hear my self singing, I got them in blue and I plan to buy them in black in the near future, if you can afford these, they are worth every penny.

I have had these headphones for 2 weeks and love them. I have a pair of beats solo and was wanting a bit more range of sound out of the headphones and the studios delivered. The price was right also as they are 50 dollars less since the new models are out. Priced at 199 these are probably the best headphones you can buy at the price. Comfort with these headphones is not quite as good to me as the solos. So far they are working perfectly as I use them at home on an ipod or ipad. I cannot turn the volume all the way up or they get too loud but have turned them up very high with little to no distorsion. I probably wouldnt recommend these for kids as I am a adult and will take care of them. The solos would probably better suit a kid but at the same price it may not matter. There is quite a bit of sound leakage so other people around you can hear what your listening to.

I got these for a great price. Price matched Costco. But the build quality is good and also the sound. It's a nice feature that you can charge the headphones instead of putting batteries.

Despite being pricy, the headphone quality is great. Ive never heard music so alive ever. Its charge last for a good couple of days. The vinyl ear muffs aernt that bad, but overall, they are some good headphones. Best sound ever.

I never got the idea on why people were wanting to shell out a bunch of money for head phones. Because forever, headphones have always been janky. They've always never been able to give you a good sound in a small package. Until I tried these on at the store one day and hooked my phone. Holy schnikies. I just couldn't believe the sound that came out of these headphones. I was blown away that a headphone finally sounds good. And I mean really good! I'm sure there are high high end studio speakers that are better than these, but be prepared to shell even more out than these already are. I've used them on my Galaxy S3 with a customer eq setting that I have kicking the music out at a great sound. I hooked them to my PC at work and man, just turn the volume up a little on the PC and these things scream. There is no lack of volume on them for sure. Like I said in the headline. It's like having a stereo system hanging on your head. I love that the future is here and giving us such great products these days!!!

I have owned all of the different versions of the Beats Studios and this is by far the best and my favorite. It feels stronger & lighter. It fits comfortably without hurting my head or ears after wearing them for 10+ hrs. I wear these daily - at work, the airport, the airplane...I never leave home without them!! These are a MUST HAVE!
