I just picked these Beats Studios and was extremely excited to get them home and try them out. I already have a set of Beats Tours and I love them. Once I got them home and sat down to listen to some music, everyone around me thought I was blasting the volume all the way. I only had the volume about 50% or 60% and everyone around me could hear every single lyric and note. It's really hard to tell they leak sound so badly while listening to them on the display at the store. My intention was to use these to watch videos or movies on my ipad or laptop and listen to music on my iPhone, but I am constantly around others so this sound leakage problem sort of defeats the purpose. Sadly, I will be returning these and picking up a set of the Beats Mixers instead since I've read that there is almost no sound leakage from them and from what I saw and felt at the store, they felt a lot more durable. These headphones are great if you are always by yourself or don't mind forcing everyone around you to listen to what you are listening to.

After trying out several brands and models of over the ear headphones in BestBuy, I purchased the Beats, Studio Over-the-Ear Headphones. Their sound quality was amazing with crystal clear highs and perfect lows and the sale price at $150 was a fantastic deal.. After trying them for a couple of days, I realized however, that they were a little bulky and not as comfortable as I had hoped for. I then decided to return them to BestBuy and replaced them with a much more comfortable pair of Bose TrueSound Over the Ear Headphones. Although the sound quality as not as impressive as the Beats I was returning and the Bose were $30 more, they were much lighter in weight and comfortable, and therefore greater met my needs.

My son requested theese as a birthday gift, so I paid the $299.00 ( for headphoness??? Really???). The sound quality is good. He loves them. I like the fact that they fold and have a hard case to protect them in his backpack. I did not realize that they used batteries, and had an on/off switch that a 13-year-old boy will leave on (of couurse) almost every time he takes them off....so we use a lot of batteries. So far that is the only negative for me.

This is a great headphone to have for a variety of reasons. Size wise, it is not too big or too small, and it is by far the most comfortable and ultimate acoustic headphone that I ever had.

The New Beats Studio Headphones are very impressive. Besides having the serious COOL factor, the SOUND is amazing! I'll admit, I was hesitant, because several reviews had mixed results from so-called audiophiles, but you have to listen to these for yourself. Yes, they are expensive but when factoring the design and sound, these are a win-win.. I listen to many genres of music. I went from Drake to Maroon 5, and I was not disappointed. Beats Studio Headphones are the TRUTH!

Just got these today, they sound and look amazing. I write and record my own music, and they sound great. Look awesome. I don't like, I had them on maybe 40% and you could hear what I was listening to pretty clearly, I made it lower, maybe 20% and it was fine. Overall I would definitely get them if you have the money...they are awesome

Love beats!!!! These headphones are so comfortable, and pretty. The sky blue, is such a unique color. Amazing sound. Would say, the headphones does slack a bit of bass.

Ive had these for almost a year (11 months) and i forget how perfect they are when i use a different pair. You can REALLY hear the difference. One MAJOR drawback is the cord. Its extremely thin and my cat can bite it one time and the cord literally breaks in half. The material used to cover the wires is weak. Iv'e been through 4 cords already.

My previous studios were roomier in the ear depth department and had bass drops like live hip hop shows but the downfall was the sound leakage and um did I mention the sound leakage! If I was in the library or somewhere quiet, forget about it...dirty looks all day. These new gen of Studios have a lightweight ness to them, a bit more comfortable for long term use, but hotter inside because its a little less roomier around your ear. Overall, the bass isn't as good as the old gen but they are getting closer to the engineering of Bose. I wish this pair of studios and the old pair of studios could have a baby and then those would be the best pair of studios ever made!

These are excellent head phones, but the ear cups could be more like Bose QC 15 or the new QC 25. After half an hour of use my ears start to hurt, but it could just be my ear shape. Noise canceling really is not there, but again great headphones is the music is most important to you.

The bass and sound quality is amazing, however, cannot be used just solely as a noise cancelling device like the Bose qc25 as there is a slight hissing noise.

I'd label these as decent headphones. I'm not like super impressed and was expecting for better sound quality and more base for the dollars I spent on these headphones. Two months into purchase and I started to doubt on durability of this product. I can feel that the quality (both the material and the sound) is starting to ware off. I'm just satisfied with the comfort. However since they're so squezed on the ears, I take them off for every hour or so and let my ears get some air before I put them back on.

These headphones were amazingly comfortable and sounded awesome, fully capturing all the highs and lows of all my music (I listen to everything from Frank Sinatra to Skrillex). However I don't feel that these headphones are worth $324 after taxes. There are many other headphone manufacturers that make equal quality products that are literally half the price. I feel like you are paying for the brand because it's the most known product right now. These headphones leak sound pretty bad as well. I got these headphones primarily to wear while doing homework, but my roommates were getting annoyed because they could hear it, even though I wasnt listening to my music louder than 75% max. Great if you don't mind the price, don't want to shop around, and don't have people living with you that get annoyed by your music.

This is amazing, i really love it. I used to think that ipod's original headphones were awesome, until i test beats by dr dre studios!. I love them! Theres just a thing, the controltalk cable dont work with my ipod touch, But still beeing amazing headphones! I really recommend them

so I found these and thought wow beats, 20 hours of battery life, awesome. NO, they are not Bluetooth after about 2 hours online trying to troubleshoot did I find out these ones are not, they are $300 regular headphones with a battery? what a huge joke and HUGE waste of my very valuable time. DO NOT BUY, if you want wireless headphones. I am taking back and getting a different pair, they wont be BEATS. I'm so upset I will not be buying beats again. ill probably get BOSE (everything I have is BOSE, I wanted to try something different) or SKULLCANDY which are like $79 right now with a 4.5 star rating, I think ill save $300 and go with those. it's a shame I really wanted to try BEATS, I'm also upset the sales guy that helped me said they are awesome wireless headphones, UHM, they are not wireless. spending $300 already i'd have no problem paying $50 more for the right ones, he sold me the wrong headphones. they look exactly the same.

Best sound quality and over all comfort for longer use. Wire close to the jack should be enforced so pulling the jack does not put stress on the wire.

These are by far the best headphones i have ever owned. Extremely comfortable and the sound quality is amazing!! A MUST BUY!!!!!!

Everyone said the Studio head phones were good so I decided to finally take the plunge and boy was I glad I did. The sound is so far superior from your standard less expensive, but still expensive type head phones by other major suppliers. They fit well and block out a lot of the outside noise. They work well when I'm listening to music or watching a movie. You have to give them a try.

How you have a $300 set of headphones with a wire and can't listen to music when battery dies is beyond me. I gather they say it has a battery and it lasts long, but that's not why people buy a wired headset. Best point of all....you have a $300 headset that is not in the magnolia section where there are actually cheaper headphones. That should tell you something...i knew it but still gave them a shot, UGH.. Returned for a pair of sennheisers at a third the price with sound that blows these out of the water.

Nice sound better than the previous beats. Great battery life as well.
