In about one month, the wire connector came apart where you insert into device and wire unusable after that. In about 10 months, the fabric at the ear piece opened up exposing the foam behind it. Just absolutely a bad product. Don't follow the early reviews on this product, as may seem like a good product at first, but eventually shows "true colors" as never lasting and a bad quality product. I would give it a zero star if an option, but forced to give it a one star and that in itself is undeserving.

If you are going for style and sound quality, these are great. I fly almost weekly and was looking for great sound with great noise cancellation. These sound very good but the noise cancellation is nonexistent.. With my ear buds i could hear almost nothing, i could hear everything with these! They do not work without batteries. I am kicking myself for not buying the Bose.

Overall, this is a very good headset but it does have its faults. A few of which being the price, music leakage, and it will not work without batteries. The worst of these is music leakage. Its so bad that you might as well strap a pair of car speakers to your head and crank them up! People clear on the other side of the room can hear every word of your music even at half volume! Beats by dre should really look in to this problem and get it fixed as soon as possible. I truly believe that if they fixed this problem more people would buy this product. Next is the price. The only reason these headphones are 300 dollars is the shiny "b" on the side. A more reasonable price for these would be around 150 dollars. As long as you keep the volume down and take care of them they are overall a decent product.

Dont get me wrong. The sound is great but i had to send these in 3 times to have the ear cup re glued or replaced. Final refurbished pair apple sent me the bluetooth dies 90 days later and i have to connect with a cord. And of course its out of warranty.

I never understood why everyone talked about beats, now I do! Great sound!

Fantastic headphones, great sound and bought at 50% discount.

I was very excited to buy these based on reviews I read.....Then I actually used them and turned to disappointment almost immediately. First thing I noticed was a constant hissing noise which after experimentation never goes away, it is a by-product of the noise cancelling. Even when music is playing it is noticceable if the volume is turned down, or when a song fades at end of track. Maybe Dr. Dre feels constant white noise is better than no noise??? Second thing, my songs sounded flat at home compared to the music I heard at the store on the Dr. Dre display. After a few days I realized anything with a lot of bass sounded good, but anything else sounded outright bad. I thought something was wrong with the set i lucked out getting, until i read more reviews on-line, turns out the constant white noise and flat sounding music are "features" with Dr. Dre headphones. Fortunately Best Buy took them back with no problem, and (after more research) I bought a much nicer set at the same store for the same money. Funny thing, when I was doing the exchange, the employee helping me told me that Dr. Dre's get returned frequently for their "cool features", they also offered up that if I had kept them long enough i would have brought them back when they just flat out broke.

Purchased the "updated" Beats Studio head phones for my daughter and compared to my son's these just don't hold up. In addition, I'm a Bose fan and although Bose don't have the fancy colors, etc. these don't compare. Lastly, any product that has a reset funtion that basically instructs the user to use it for every possible situation should give a user pause to purchase.

I'm really enjoying excellent headphone has a very good bass. I recommend!

These headphones are pretty good. Great audio out of them and built very well, my only issue with these is that the ear pads are so soft they just squish down and my ears press directly on where the speakers are. Extremely uncomfortable to wear for any amount of time.

Ever since I bought these for my husband, he finds time to utilize them. I must admit that I was nervous about making the move to purchase them. After seeing his face because of the purchase, I now know that I made the right decision. Thanks Best Buy!

Very great, Use at school confort yes some times not but great the noise reduction is not that great but works on a 1-100 scale it would be 99 and i support dre keep it going

More cosmetic appeal than sound quality. They look nice, but for way under the full price you pay for these, you can get some mind blowing noise canceling headphones, like Bose or Sony, who have been in the audio game for years.

Just bough these phones on 12/21/14. Sound and base were great until you turn down the volume. When listening to music at low/medium volume settings there is a very noticeable hum that I'm guessing is created by the noise cancelling device. It's very annoying when you are NOT wanting to rock out at high volume. If your jamming to high base laden music you might be OK. Not worth the $200+ in my opinion. Taking them back to Best Buy this evening.

Awesome headphones. Was not aware off how loud these things were until my doctor told me he heard me 2 rooms over. It's like haveing a home stereo system on ur head. Well worth the price

I bought these for my daughter as a Christmas 2014 present. I have the first generation Studio headphones which were better made, but I thought these were similarly made. I was wrong. Her headphones began to crack on the outside left part of the headband after about 9 months and eventually broke on the inside plastic. I took it to the Apple store to see if it would be covered under warranty, where I was told more than likely, no. I was told that they would send it to Beats Repair to see if they may cover it, but if they didn't, it would cost $150 minimum to repair - for a pair of $200 headphones that work great otherwise. If they do not cover the repair, I'm stuck with headphones that are useless because of a $5 part. I will NEVER purchase another pair of these again.
