These are the perfect headphones if you're all about making a statement. They are the most recognizable headphone by far. They've marketed these headphones to the masses through extensive celebrity endorsements. And guess what? They've passed the cost on to you! When you pay $300 for these headphones, you're helping pay for all the expensive marketing. Because, these simply aren't worth $300. They're nice headphones. They boast the bass, so you can "feel" the music, but they neglect other frequency ranges. They're comfortable to wear, but the construction quality isn't great. The name "studio" is misleading to those amateur musicians who think these are meant to work on recording music like Dre himself. Studio reference headphones are meant to provide a flat frequency range to provide ideal conditions for mixing and mastering. Beats offer anything but a flat frequency range. So, in review, buy these if you're trying to popular and make a statement. Don't buy these if you're serious about your music and/or planning on using these for recording music.

Great headphones. Love the sound it produces and the earphones are extremely comfortable. Comes with a handy button on the earphone where it allows you to hear someone talking. Would definitely recommend these. Kind of pricey but worthy every dollar.

Bought two of these. One pink and one black for my daughter and son. The packaging is awesome. The product is very meticulous. The black headset worked perfectly from day one and still works great. The sound quality is awesome. Noise cancelling is great. Can't hear anyone around with these on. They are super comfortable and soft. Downside. Pink headset worked for a couple of weeks. Then would power on but then power off almost immediately. Can't listen on these head phones without power. Which kind of stinks. So you have to keep them charged and they aren't even wireless. Had to return to bestbuy. Fortunately I am elite status so Bestbuy replaced them. New pink set works great. If the very expensive headset didn't have power issues I would give these 5 stars. If you appreciate apple products and the care and quality they put towards their devices then you will feel right at home with the Beats! I would recommend these. Just be careful. Maybe get the warranty on them. I read that others had the same power issue as me with these head sets.
