Would maybe just stick to using it for weights if you're looking for a pair for the gym! Lastly, I'd say they're pretty sturdy and I love the sound quality and noise transparency.

They seriously block out all extra noise and they play pretty loud ! I use them for the gym , traveling , and even cleaning around the house ! It's perfect when traveling and you want to disconnect for a little bit. The battery life it's great compared to other headphones I've owned and it charges back really quick through the USB-C cable.

Battery life is excellent. And they are plenty loud. Would have liked to see a little more metal on them for the price. But if taken care of they should be good.
